I researched ebikes for a week or so before settling on Jasion. I wanted to make sure the company i chose had customer service and a good reputation as there are a lot of no name bikes out there and if you meed support there is no one to contact. That being said, we chose the old model retrovolt for our teen boys because we liked the styling of the bike. When the item arrived the one of the seats was damaged in packing, the customer service sent me a new seat immediately after contacting them with pix. No complaints there. As far as the performance, it’s everything they say it is. You can get it up to 30 mph pretty quickly. It’s fun to ride. The battery lasts a long time. It’s functional if you add a basket to it. It’s easy to put together and I’m not mechanically inclined. All the brake pads rubbed badly out of the box so i wish they gave instruction on how to adjust those. (As all 3 of the bikes i ordered from them had this issue ) It is fitted for a second person, i have not tried two up but i don’t think it would be comfortable and i doubt it would have the same level of power getting to higher speeds. We use it off and on road which is why we chose this model. Handles both effortlessly. I kind of think the chain pedal assist is stupid. It would make way more sense to just make it full powered. But I’m sure there is a legal reason they all have pedal assist. It is not a bike you are ever gonna just pedal ride. I guess if you ran out of juice on your battery, but it would be a difficult journey. I also nought the YR20 Jaison from the website which is basically the updated version. It is quicker off the line. It has some upgraded parts. It came with a 2 yr warranty and was only a couple hundred more. I would recommend this for bang for the buck and quality.

Great choice, wonderful product. I wanted a bike with versatile functionality that can double up a vehicle for me and my partner, can be used for a quick trip to nearby grocery store as well as can be used for a pleasureable ride to enjoy all kinds of terrains. It is just the right height and weight that can be easily managed. The bike rides super comfortably, without any noise. Hope that will stay so with regular maintenance. The bike can pick up speed with minimal effort. The ride at 20mph was pretty smooth. The charger could be a little faster. Hope Jasion comes up with a faster one. I have used it for over 25 miles and the charge shows 80%. That is pretty awesome.

Honest first 100 miles review. Let me start by saying that these bikes are an amazing value! What you pay for 2 bikes with the addition of the baskets and the rear seats is just simply unbeatable. It definitely left room in our budget for some small upgrades. The upgrades that have been done to both bikes so far are 1. Hydraulic brake calipers 2. Larger headlights 3. Pedals (just for looks) 4. Cell phone holders 4. Cup holders 5. Wheel covers 6. Mirrors. The one upgrade I felt was absolutely necessary where the brake calipers because the stock brakes are a little squeaky. The bikes were easy to put together out of the box but they are a little bulky and a little heavy. I knew that already from the photos and from other reviews that I had already read so I knew what I was getting into. These are our first e-bikes so I don't have any other e-bikes to compare them to but I do have other bikes and I could tell right out of the box that these bikes are well built. We started out with a few short rides just to get used to the bikes and fine-tune some of the settings and now we have taken them on several long rides and some off-road trails and the bikes have performed really well on all types of terrain. We live in Colorado and they have handled everything Colorado has thrown at them so far. The longest ride we have done so far was 25 mi. The range on the batteries has been pretty good overall, but on that long trip I did run out of juice about a quarter mile from our destination and I had to pedal that pretty heavy bike the rest of the way and it was not fun pedaling that much weight up any type of incline. It is hard to gauge the range on that bike because at times you will pedal and use the assist and at other times you will only throttle which makes it difficult to gauge exactly how much range you are getting. You can be checking your battery level but it takes one steep hill to take it from say 60% to 40%. So it really depends on the type of riding that you are doing. The seat is a little on the hard side so long rides can eventually start to get a little uncomfortable. And I'm not sure if I'm just getting used to it or I am starting to soften the cushion. But the last long ride I did feel a little more comfortable by the end of the ride so take that for what it's worth. All in all I have to say that this has been an excellent purchase. We have gone places we've never been before. We've gone on adventures through some beautiful state parks and trails that we would have never known. We are having so much fun with these bikes that we take them out just about every weekend now and we can't wait for our next adventure. Pros Great value Great looks 29 mph! This bike is really great and built solid strong frame allowing baskets and set up for carrying small cargo both in the basket and in the back of the seat Not hard at all to assemble having just a basic knowledge of hand tool experience. I am 315 lbs and it takes me around the blocks with ease and feels confident and reliable also has a removable battery for extra security that you can charge while it is off the bike. I feel it is a solid purchase and has good value to dollar

Overall a quality bike. The frame is sturdy and the welds look solid. The battery has a lock so you can secure it to the bike. This goes over 30mph and rides smooth

This bike rips! I weigh 180 and it gets up to 32mph. I would give 5 stars but it didn't come with the cargo basket as advertised

I purchased this bike a few weeks ago and had some concerns at first. Thankfully, the customer support was responsive and professional, they worked with me through the issue and made sure everything was resolved in a respectful and timely manner. The bike itself is lightweight, folds easily, and is a great option for city commutes or quick errands. Battery life can vary depending on terrain and weight, but it does the job for casual riding. The frame is sleek, the throttle is fun, and the assist modes are easy to use. There were a couple of small tweaks I had to make out of the box, but that’s not uncommon for bikes at this price point. Overall, it’s a solid purchase if you’re looking for an affordable foldable e-bike and knowing the support team is there makes a real difference !

Bought a pink one for my wife and black one for myself and love them. We use ours for camping and are great with the pedal assist when going up hills at the camp site. Going to get the baskets for the front as well.
