Women's EVO KSO Running Shoe

I've purchased many Five Fingers over the past 10 years, even though they last a long time. I have discovered that any of the shoes based on the KSO Evo sole pattern run small. In the product image, that's the orange bottom sole, not the inner sole. I thought I was buying an old favorite but got mixed up and when I saw the sole and tried to put on my size, I knew they were too small. This sole is identical to the V-Soul and older Encana's pattern which also run small (I ordered them and returned them in the past). How small? Two sizes too small. I am a 40 in all other Vibram shoes of which I have many. Size in this style, KSO Evo, 41 allows for socks although snug, size 42 is perfect. Note that this is one of the thinnest soled, most barefoot style shoe but it is slim fitting, no Hobbit feet. If you don't like really a thin sole, just get a pair of 3/4 inserts at the grocery or pharmacy and you will be all set. So be sure to check the sole style of any Vibram you buy and if it is just like this one, order up 2 sizes.

I will start by saying I love vibram 5-finger shoes. I wear them every day that I possibly can and this is my 5th pair. However, they stopped making my favorite model so I decided to try these. They are a beautiful mint color and VERY cute, but they run small (which is managaable but worth noting.) However, they have one HUGE problem. After one month of wearing them on walks about 4-5 days a week, they had a hole That wore through the sole. As in my foot is touching concrete with every step. The whole is the size of a dime. With my other vibrams this would usually happen between 12-18 months, which is fine by me as I walk quite regularly, it seemed a fair lifespan for a shoe. But a month???? That's insane. Especially for a pair of $100+ shoes. They need thicker or more durable soles. You might be fine with these if you don't plan to get a lot of mileage but otherwise I can't recommend them. Worst of all, as I was just past the 30 day mark, I can't get a refund or exchange. Very disappointed in that policy. If I had bought these at REI I could have gotten a full refund no questions asked. (I don't work for REI just love their return policy and what it says about them standing behind their products.)

These are my third pair of Vibrams and I’m impressed! They aren’t the prettiest colors and catch a bit more attention, but they are just as good of quality as my other Vibrams and allow great grip when I climb trucks at my work and are really nice for walking around the office. These KSOs really help me feel the ground when moving heavier items and can’t look down which is nice. I also have the V-Aquas, and the V-Trek. Both are also amazing shoes if you are an outdoors person like me! I don’t think I can ever wear normal shoes again Vibrams are so comfortable! I pretty much walk around barefoot, wear slides, flip flops, or wear my Vibrams now. I bought the KSOs to wear to work because my tennis shoes would hurt my feet by end of day and my boots are too clunky for climbing. I ordered them in my normal size and they fit like a glove! It does feel like the toe pockets go to low by a few mm and dig between two of my toes on the left shoe, but none of my toes are scrunched in the shoe, the right foot feels just fine, and the next size up is too big. I’m sending these back since it looks like a factory defect in the internal stitching causing the discomfort. Ill update these once my new pair get here. I truly doubt I’ll be disappointed once I find a properly fitting pair.

I bought size 7.5-8 (I wear 7.5-8, medium width in regular shoes, boots and heels). I could get them on with much effort. The big toe is too short, making my toe numb in a couple minutes. Toes 2-4 were a little too long for me. Pinky toe: just right! The heel and mid-shoe fit me well. I have strong medium width feet and my heel is wide. I am returning because the securement strap broke just by trying them on once. But, I just ordered a replacement a size up (8.5-9) because I still want to try and see if that works for me. I spent $70 on my pair. Grey & Orange look great, the orange is not too fluorescent, which I liked. The colors look good. Very lightweight and flexible, yet supportive feeling.

I loved the idea of these shoes, but they were definitely too small. The sizing on this listing is slightly off. I had to return them.

No le atinaba a la talla porque viene reducido así que tuve devolverlo por lo que sugiero piense en el tamaño y en que va a necesitar calcetines :p Por otra parte, estoy muy contenta pues el cambio de talla me llegó rápido; son exageramente hermosos, ligeros, cómodos, flexibles, me siento muy satisfecha con la compra.

Me han gustado sobremanera, son muy cómodas, un poco complicado ponérselas al principio pero una vez domines el movimiento de tus dedos será pan comido. Una experiencia nueva al andar. Para las tallas me medí el pie como se recomienda y me guié por la tabla de medidas de su página oficial fivefingers y la de 5dedos.es. En mi caso fue una talla más de la habitual y al principio estaba un poco confusa porque me quedaban justas, acostumbrada a los zapatos habituales que siempre llevo holgados, pero realmente se deben ajustar a tu pie sin hacerte daño, convirtiéndose en un calcetín o una segunda piel. A pesar de tener una malla transpirable, el pie suda y tras varias puestas pueden coger mal olor. Para el verano en mi ciudad calurosa no vienen muy bien, sin embargo, para el otoño-invierno creo que son perfectas. He de decir que yo las uso para mi día a día, no para correr. Si quisieras usarla para eso debes tener en cuenta que la técnica es distinta (yo diría que realmente es la correcta) y las sensaciones también. Ya les he dado su primer lavado a máquina y están como el primer día. Las recomiendo.

Tienen unos acabados cuidados y se adaptan muy bien.
