RAM Mounts RAP-B-166-2-A-UN7U X-Grip Phone Mount with RAM Twist-Lock Low Profile Suction Base with Short Arm for Vehicle Windshields

I saw this mount at the Apex show in Vegas a couple of years ago and I’ve always been going to get one. I finally did works really well because I can change it from one vehicle to another and not have it fall off the windshield because it doesn’t stick well my phones get, a lot of abuse and so that my phone mounts I guide Jeep tour in Moab Utah, and they are continually bouncing around in the Jeep and this is the only one I’ve found. They will actually hold it to the windshield in place.

It just works. I can tell it will be very durable as compared to cheaper solutions bought previously (Used them until they broke). The suction base design is nice - small footprint, but it really holds. I've used this on my 74 mph bass cat boat (Puma), my golf cart and my GX470. So far, it's performed flawlessly. The only criticism is that it can be hard to position the phone holder at the right viewing angle, but this is relatively minor and would probably be remedied with buying an additional armature component. Wonderful product all in all. Not cheap, but not insanely expensive when this will work well for number of years. If you're looking at this product, just get it. I bought a bunch of other cheaper solutions while eye-balling this product. I should have just bought this in the first place! I'm actually about to buy a second one so I don't have to move this one around between vehicles all the time.

I am a diverse truck driver. I drive spotter/yard truck, and drive a commercial truck. I have gone through A LOT of phone mounts. They are all plastic, and are prone to breaking. For those of you who know about the yard trucks, they aren't much for comfort; they bounce around a lot. Because of this, many phone mounts have broken. My RAM Mount is is holding up, I am impressed with how well this thing stays mounted to the window, and how well it holds my phone. Pros: It suctions to the window well (even in temperature diverse conditions) It keeps the phone mounted (the gravity clamp is well designed) Cons: The price is a little high, but well worth it. It can be a pain to get the phone out of the mount (is that even a con though?). 5/5 stars

I love that the suction cup works every time, and never falls off like lesser quality units. You actually twist the base to create the suction on the glass. This company makes equipment for police cars, etc.. and the quality shows. I like to buy once and forget it, not fill a trash can with inferior versions of a product. I suggest that anyone looking for a phone or GPS holder invest in this and be done with it. You can even change out parts if your vehicle or needs change! Love that I can order a replacement part in the event something fails. As a sharp critic of how things are constructed, I don't see that happening with this product. Made in USA is a definite bonus.

It IS a slightly steep price point. But, it is a modular outdoors mounting system. The product is robust and strong. The suction cup is great, the locking mechanism just added extra security and pressure. I have a s23 ultra. If I remove the gripping boots my phone, in a defender case barely fits. If I didn't have a case it might fit. I already gave it to the person who asked me to order it. I happened to order a spare. I'll likely gift it to someone because it is actually a great system. The packaging coming with a small vial of adhesive(glue) incase you really need to stick it to something. Windshield usage is a dream. It's a ball and socket mounting system without telescope capabilities. Keep that in mind. Overall I am impressed with the product.

This Ram Mount suctions easily & securely to the window. The neck is easily adjusted to any angle needed, and the spring loaded X clamp that holds the phone is great. The rubber nobs hold it w/ out any shake & clear the buttons down the sides of the phone. I have an iPhone 14 Pro & it fits perfectly. This makes music, audiobooks, and GPS so much easier & safer to use.

I bought this product to hold my phone in the car. This has to be the best car windscreen phone cradle I've ever bought. Very sturdy and strong and so easy to use. Fits Samsung Galaxy 8 nicely.... quite expensive to buy but worth it if it lasts.

Iv been wanting one of these for a while now and I’m definitely not disappointed. I’m using it in an excavator and it doesn’t bounce around like previous phone holders. It arrived 2 days early but was missing the central piece. Rang the supplier and the missing piece was with me the very next day, so 10/10 for customer service too! I was most impressed.

I am happy of this product. Is a little to tight on s23 ultra but is grate holding phone. So far I am not complaining happy and recommend to buy this product

Was working in Australia and saw one of these for sale for $220. And loved it. Unfortunately lost it over the years so needed a new one for my tractor. Glad I got it as it’s been a life saver. Suction is very strong and holds the phone. Design is great and works well!
