This light works very well for my intended purpose, to light a hallway that is very dark (pitch black) at night, but I need to warn people of one potential flaw. My hallway is empty but for a heater midway. I had put in two light sconces to either side of it, and wanted to put these two sensors for when we entered the hall, it would then light our way through, and turn off when we passed. It did this until I turned on the heater. The heat from the heater is enough to cause the lights to turn on for their fifteen seconds, then off then right back on, over and over for as long as the heater burns. While i live in Los Angeles and only use the heater for maybe six weeks of the year, they are useless to me for that long. You in northern regions need to remember to avoid heat vents and such when you place them or you'll run through AAA batteries fast!

These are dim lights (for instance, I couldn't read easily by one, but it also doesn't easily wake someone up on the plus side). With this noted, these lights play in a very useful niche with the motion sensor - for dark places where you would like some lighting that just comes on. And for that purpose it is a 5-star product. I have had them several months now and works perfectly. One use is on our stairs - if one is going up them at night then the light will turn on for like 10-20 seconds after passing nearby. They work well in a closet too. So far it has lasted months of daily use without having to change batteries.

This was a repeat purchase so I now have them in several rooms of my house. They are used often and I change the batteries maybe 1-2x a year.

These work really well and they are very beautiful. They seemed to be light and cheap but when they are turned on, they are really nice.

I purchased these for my mom to have in her bedroom for when she gets up at night to use the bathroom. They are very good at detecting motion and turning on as soon as she gets up and she said they clearly light the way out of the bedroom and stay on long enough for her to come back and get back into bed.

So poorly made, that I could not get the battery cover off. Save your money

Exactly what we wanted. Lightweight. Sensor picks up movement easily and turns off after a few minutes.

The motion sensor works great, and it’ll serve the purpose I want it to (bathroom light in the middle of the night). But I specifically wanted one with the light detection too so that it turns off when I do turn the bathroom light on. However, this lamp (I tried with both that came) does not turn off automatically when there’s other lights on, despite the product saying it should. I tried getting the sensor as close to the other light source as possible when it didn’t turn off automatically, and it still stayed on. Feel this will make the batteries drain a lot faster than they should when on automatic mode.

This is my second purchase. Hope can improve further to be more consistent at motion detection.

Nice looking lamp, works absolutely perfect, at least so far. We are happy with the product.

I'm really frustrated with this product. I thought it would be perfect for my dark hallway, but I've had not one, not two, but three of these Golden Round motion sensor night lights and they all started blinking randomly and couldn't be fixed. They're aesthetically pleasing and the design is great for kids' rooms or hallways, but the functionality just isn't there. If you're looking for a reliable motion sensor light, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. Maybe someone has a better experience with a different brand, but for now, I'm on the hunt for a new option.

After tapping them a little, both night lights sensors now seem to active but reluctantly…. here’s hoping they continue to work consistently. Well, so far so good. Lights up small dark hallway well; like the option of auto shut off, off or stay on. Handy light with motion sensor and works on batteries, love it!
