We have a shipment arriving tomorrow. You should see it as in-stock tomorrow afternoon. **Q: Is this safe if want to use to roast marshmallows?** A: Yes it is. The glass is inert without any coatings or anything toxic on it. Be careful that the marshmallows don't touch the glass, or pieces of the mashmallows don't fall into the glass. If they do you can pick out the pieces with marshmallow stuck to them the next day after it cools down. **Q: How many 10 pound jars are needed for a 16x16 fire pit** A: The amount of glass needed will depend on how deep your fire pit is. We would recommend starting with 2 of our 10 lb. jars and seeing how much coverage that gives you. **Q: How many 10 pound jars are needed for a 39” x 8” burner? Thx!** A: For a 39" x 8" burner pan filled to a 2" depth you'll need 3 jars (a total of 30 lb.) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Vibrant and Lively Colors *by on Reviewed in the United States 3 October 2018* We recently purchased a 42 inch fire pit . At the same time from another company I purchased recycled fire glass in the color "coffee ". After putting it together and seeing that it didn't have much of a shine after dark, I heard about reflective fire glass. On Amazon I discovered Celestial Fire Glass High Luster 1/2" Reflective glass and purchased two 10 lb jars of "Sunstorm Gold" and one 10 lb jar in "Cosmic Copper."I removed the old glass and gently poured in the Celestial glass carefully mixing the different colors together. Then I added enough of the old glass to give more color to reflect off the Celestial glass. The look is more alive looking especially at night achieving the result that I was looking for. Friends and family love it.The quality is good, the colors appear as in the close up pictures on Amazon. The dark and light colors give depth, color and a realistic look as the flames bounce and reflect off the glass. Really pretty.Attached are a couple pictures in the daylight. I thought I had one at night, but it looks like I don't!Hopefully this helps you in your decision making.I'm very pleased with Celestial; the packaging was secure keeping the glass from chipping and I received it all in two days ### ⭐⭐ Grey with a hint of blue - tiny glass shards *by on Reviewed in the United States 14 April 2021* The color has a slight blue hint to it. Similar to depicted. Package came opened in multiple places and I had little glass shards all over. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Used in an art project *by on Reviewed in the United States 3 January 2023* I was very happy with the product ## Frequently Bought Together - High Luster, 1/2" Reflective Tempered Fire Glass in Cosmic Copper, 10 Pound Jar, by Celestial Fire Glass - Outland Living Fire Pit Outdoor Table, Propane Smokeless Fire Table / 50,000 BTU, Black Tempered Tabletop with Arctic Ice Glass Rocks and Resin Wicker Panels Series 403- Espresso Brown / Rectangle --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.nz/products/777078010-celestial-fire-glass-high-luster-1-2-reflective-tempered-fire](https://www.desertcart.nz/products/777078010-celestial-fire-glass-high-luster-1-2-reflective-tempered-fire) --- *Product available on Desertcart New Zealand* *Store origin: NZ* *Last updated: 2026-10-28*
