My new born was having trouble latching on while feeding bcoz of flat nipples, i tried a few shields from local medical store but those had a cheap design with a hard plastic disk at the end of the silicone nipple. This made the baby very uncomfortable and even at times was a hazard to her mouth. Ordered Pigeon Silicone Nipple Shield. The results are really encouraging, baby has all the comfort while feeding, he is able to latch on very easily and i think it gives a very natural feel to me as the complete Nipple Shield is silicone and made very fine so that the baby is able to feel the mothers touch and warmth.Recommend for new parent who are having problems with feeding in the initial days.This must be the first time I have given a 5star rating to a product, as its very simple to dislike any aspect of it and it has given us so much relief with our baby !!

Flow may reduce

My boy baby was born 20 days before due date and he couldn't latch on my nipple, so started using this nipple shield and this solved my problemAfter using nipple shield for 1 month got to know that continuous use of nipple shield can decrease your milk supply. If it's latching issue, use nipple shield for only 2 to 3 mins and once your nipple comes out remove shield and allow your baby to feed directly. If it's due to sore nipple you are using shield, please don't continue using it for more than 2 or 3 days

By the time u stick this nipple to urs n try to give in Baby’s mouth the vaccum breaks down n shield comes out which irritates baby n flow gets disturbed. Such a waste of time and money product

This Review is for all the first time moms out there that are facing trouble breastfeeding their little one's, this product was the best thing i have even purchased in my life, it helped my baby have breast-milk while he grew up, its been 11 months that i have been using this product, during the first month when i did not know anything about this we were having a lot of trouble breastfeeding our baby, and it was by chance that i gave this a shot and its been wonderful in both ways it really help later also when the baby start teething and does not make the nipples go tender from feeding all the time, to all the new moms who are having trouble please give this a try.

Dislike not using the product

The results are really encouraging, baby has all the comfort while feeding, is able to latch on very easily and we think it gives a very natural feel to her as the complete Nipple Shield is silicone and made very fine so that the baby is able to feel the mothers touch and warmth. Very pleased with the product, 2 pieces of Nipple Shield is an added convenience as cleaning/sterilization effort is reduced. We dont use the plastic box that came with the Nipple Shield as not sure if it can stand sterilization and store them in a separate sterilized box.Recommend for new parent who are having problems with feeding in the initial days. Its one problem solved out of many other you may be facing.This must be the first time I have given a 5star rating to a product, as its very simple to dislike any aspect of it and it has given us so much relief with our baby.

Product quality is good. So the 2 stars. However, child does not latch on to the nipple. So does not serve it's purpose. :(
