Good product & good price!
This is an old interface model but works very well. I had it hooked to my laptop & my keyboard and with the music software, it works very well.

Feels same as scarlett 2i2
I was using a scarlet studio 2i2 with my desk top, and fell in love with using it as a hub for computer audio, i just was getting tired of disconnecting it to take it to record with the band. I decided to give the UMC a shot as a dedicated hub for my desk top, so i wasn't planning on doing recording with it, but tried it out just to see what it could do. As far as the sound quality and overall user experience, it feels identical to my scarlett2i2.

Works well after 2yrs of abuse
I have been using it, daily, for 2 years. Very durable, easy setup. I record remotely at various locations and have dropped it on the ground during setups, or it accidentally got pulled off the table by cables, but it still works great. Which you wouldn't expect given it's lightweight plastic housing. Behringer products are usually hit or miss for me - some aren't very good, but this is an excellent product for the price. Got it to replace my Presonus, which last all of a month. I'm semi-pro, audio production is my weekend-hustle, so it's more than adequate for someone in my position.

Excellent interface, bought to replace a lost one of the same model
Bought to replace the one that my movers lost, I have had that one for years. I was so happy with the old one, I didn't even think about getting something else. These are great little interfaces. ASIO drivers for it can get input latency way down to just a few milliseconds, plenty good enough for almost anything.

Better than PreSonus except for line input
This is superior to the PreSonus AudioBox iTwo in most ways: * more compact * knurled knobs * better loopback test results Here are the loopback-to-XLR test results per RightMark Audio Analyzer: 20 Hz to 20 kHz: +/- 0.17 dB Noise: -93.7 dBA THD: 0.00404% THD + Noise: -83.2 dBA IMD + Noise: 0.00708% IMD at 10 kHz: 0.00745% These are excellent results. However there are two exceptions: * Engaging the "pad" switch only attenuates the input and does not lower preamp gain. So all else equal the noise result drops to a less respectable -84.6 dBA when using "pad" * Something is wrong with the analog line input stage design. When you use the 1/4" input jacks the THD + Noise gets inexcusably worse than XLR: -59.3 dBA. I've repeated this test many different ways and the result is the same from my own tests and others'. The PreSonus AudioBox iTwo does not exhibit this problem. If you're recording line input and THD + Noise is critical, you may want to avoid the Behringer.

Very Nice Audio Interface
The Behringer UMC202HD is perfect for my application. I'm using it to connect an instrument, vocal mic and headphones to PC via USB. The instrument is a sax with wireless mic, the wireless receiver is connected to UMC202HD through standard XLR cable, as is the vocal mic. The audio quality is amazing through the XLR inputs, incredibly transparent. The application I'm using requires an ASIO driver which is supported by the supplied Behringer driver, and the latency numbers are a little better than other manufacturer ASIO drivers I've used. The vocal mic requires phantom power which the UMC202HD supplies. The headphone output does a good job driving my headphones, I get enough volume to listen through headphones while I'm playing. I couldn't be happier with this audio interface, particularly considering the price point. Not only does it just work, it works very well!

Best but needs little twerking 😜 Things to keep in mind : 1) Audio drivers may cause issues in Windows 10 . Working well with Asio4all for me 😊. 2) Direct monitoring is stereo , which means while using direct monitor we hear 1st input in left ear and 2nd input in right ear. Use a stereo splitter for hearing 1st or 2nd input in both ears . Overall nice interface , light and portable . Best for home studio set up .
