Portable wheelchair
Good wheelchair and it was easy for my elderly mom to learn to use. The best part is that it’s portable and light making it easier for her to be mobile whenever she wants. Customer service is pretty good - we were having issues with the device and got some help, too.

Recommend
The wheelchair arrived in great condition except the battery charger did not work. Product support asked for videos of how I was going about using the charger. Customer service was prompt to send another charger with video on proper charging. (The instruction booklet was a little confusing.). I charged it and took my sister out for groceries and the chair ran down only a few minutes later. I determined that I may not be charging correctly so had a knowledgeable family member to evaluate it. The new charger was not working properly. I contacted Customer Support and they were not able to send a charger because their stockpile of chargers was gone. My brother examined the charger and found that it was shorting out but was able to get the batteries to charge after tapping it. Since that time I have been able to charge the batteries and take my sister out and about with confidence. Knowing what I know now I would recommend this chair because it is easy to operate and has a smooth ride. My sister feels good to know it is dependable. Customer support is prompt to answer and helpful. Melanie H.

Great light electric wheelchair!
We bought this because my husband is on oxygen 24/7 and the portable oxygen was no longer strong enough. So it had to be light enough for me to load into the trunk! I’m 74 and it is just light enough for me to handle it!

Motor lost power within three weeks
The chair itself is good for the price. It was missing a part so Amazon refunded me and said keep the chair. Less than a month in, the motor has lost half its power and I can’t get another motor since it was refunded. Would be great if it held its power. The company is refusing to sell me a motor so I can use the chair and therefore, I would only give them a one star for the customer service side not so much for the chair.

Right Chair for the Right Person
I have been using this chair daily for 1.5 months mostly indoors. I was able to compare it with two other folding chairs, both more expensive and heavier. The Zurcheel is right for anyone who can sit uncramped in an arm chair with 17” seat width. Seat height is 19” above the floor. For a higher position you can add one or two 2” foam exercise pads. They are inexpensive and easily found on the internet. The narrow chair of the Zurcheel makes it MUCH EASIER to navigate through door- ways. It is also easy to change between power and manual modes, and to defeat or restore the beep-beep-beep alarm that sounds when you drive in reverse gear. For each action you push a button and a lit diode confirms the action.. These actions are much more cumbersome in the two comparison chairs. The Zurcheel chair has both electric and hand brakes, while the comparison chairs have only electric. I am sure that the electric brakes are adequate, but I find it reassuring to have both, and I do use both. Wheelchair brands usually emphasize the mileage range of their models in advertise- ments. I think it more useful to determine the number of hours needed to recharge the batteries fully after a typical period since the last charge. In this case I had not charged in 3 days of mild use. The charge display has 3 of its 5 diodes lit, indicating about 50% charge. It took 4 hrs, 15 mins to bring it back to full charge. It was surprising to me to find that the Zurcheel chair has so many appealing features. It is a very good chair and a very good value, but not perfect. It can be underpowered on carpet, especially in rooms with thicker carpet. When I encounter this I simply switch to a higher gear, problem solved.

Excellent and efficient
I bought the blue Zurcheel few months ago used it for indoors because of bad knee and ankle. It runs so good just bought the second one (red) just in case at least they shared same type of battery. Why I chose this Zurcheel because it has manual mode that allows someone push behind liked normal wheelchair.

Disappointed but workable
(1) You need to buy a seat cushion because the bar at the front edge has no cushioning. (2) If it’s 30 lbs then it must be without the batteries in it. (3) Batteries are really hard to pull out. (4) Bag that holds the battery charger and little wheels is cheaply made. Went to pull it out of the box and the handle ripped right out. Plus there is another rip in it. For $850 I expected better quality. (5) Joy stick is very sensitive. Plan to hit a few things until you get used to it. (6) Ad here said arms folded up but they don’t.
