Review: Love it - I originally bought Sign 'O' The Times on vinyl many, many years ago and used to have it blaring from the open windows in my XR3 - how cool I used to think I was! I only realised I didn't have this in my play list after Prince's recent death when checking my iTunes tracks. I just had to get it again - I loved the album then and I love it just as much now - nearly 30 years after I first listened to it. He just had so much energy and talent in his music. He also has his own unique sound and is a massive loss in this sad year of losing so many personalities. Watch out for some of his old live performances - he was such a brilliant guitarist as well. Yes his vocals are a bit distorted in parts. The detail is truely amazing. Like all vinyl the better the turntable, arm and cartridge the better. Oh, and phono stage.
