Wow! I did a lot of research on Balancing my hormones. I tried Maca, vitex, black cohosh, but this Shatavari finally brought me back into harmony. I'm 31 and had been on low dose birth control for over 10 years. I never realized how much those pills were effecting me emotionally and ruining my natural cycle. Hormones unbalanced can show as weight gain, excess fatty tissues, mood swings, mental focus issues, pills have even been proven to change the type of men we date. Look it up, solid research on that. So yes, no unwanted pregnancies but a major impact on your life. This product in particular is great because quite a bit of the research papers I reviewed found no impact with powdered forms where the liquid form, prepared like this one, created the shifts the study was measuring. It sounds more expensive but one bottle lasts me about 6 months. So even if you need to double the dosage that I am taking this bottle should still last you 3 months. The higher dosages aren't necessary so you get way more than 42 servings. I recommend putting it by your bed and taking it on the tongue first thing in the AM before you have eaten (absorbs better). Also, exercise even just getting outside and walking every day or kundalini yoga which is my routine, eating lots of veggies and lean protein with no caffeine or alcohol particularly in the phase of your cycle after ovulation really makes an impact on keeping your hormones balanced. I bought this to help up my breast milk production & while I honestly hadn't noticed any improvement in that area I can say that I notice an improvement in my mood, energy level & those annoying chin hairs I'd been prey to have slowed way down in their growth (I used to have to pluck at least twice a week to keep the "goat hairs," from being visible). When I first got this I took a full dropper dose three times a day & when I missed a dose on day 3 I felt like I was PMSing (moody, sleepy, bloated the works). Then I reread the bottle and concluded that the "dropper bulb," amount was one squeeze of the bulb which is really 1/2 the dosage I was taking.I've adjusted the dosage and haven't missed one since & it's been smooth sailing. Just be aware of how much you take and when- this stuff works!

I have used the powdered form from banyan botanicals that was really effective for my mood, skin, and menstrual cramp relief. However I felt as if the results were still lacking as I was also looking for a more curvy hip area and wanted to lower any excess androgens I may have. While the powder for did not help my body and only face, this extract for actually makes my hips a little thicker looking which is a sign of estrogen. It also makes my skin glow just like the powder. Im going to assume the tincture is more potent which is why I get the more curvier bottom as well as opposed to the powder. Hopefully the results get better and better!

Taste is extremely awful. Not sure what they added to this product. The smell is so strong like a chemical. Do not drop in your mouth. Please add it to a beverage and eat a nice meal. Not sure if working yet because it only been 4 days.

Shatavari translates roughly as "she who has a hundred husbands," and, well, it makes me feel pretty "feminine" in a way that the name would imply, lol! I love this extract, and highly recommend. Would likely enhance libido for women, generally. Also, leaves a slight, vaguely sweet taste in my mouth that's not at all unpleasant once it has been absorbed and in my system. I can usually tell about 30 minutes after ingesting on empty stomach. Highly recommend shatavari, and have used this brand with great results, even with other of their herbal extracts, too.

I used this to increase my milk supply when my son was ten months old. It increased my cup size from a D to DDD too because it increases milk producing tissues. I had PCOS and it severely affected my supply plus my son spent two months in the NICU due to being a 27 weeker. So I had a rough start establishing my supply with a pump. But this stuff allowed me to increase my supply even after so long and I was close to drying up. It worked better than blessed thistle, fennel, fenugreek, oatmeal, and Reglan all combined.
