Works as advertised. Colour accuracy and sRGB coverage is quite poor, and enabling HDR causes significant colour banding. Otherwise, good value for money we'll see how long it lasts

I have been using the VILVA Portable Monitor 14-inch FHD (1920 × 1200) for over a year now, and it has honestly been one of the best tech purchases I’ve made. The biggest advantage for me is portability. The monitor is incredibly slim and lightweight — it fits easily into my handbag or backpack without adding bulk. I travel frequently and used to pay for extra luggage just to carry an additional monitor for productivity. Since getting this monitor, that is no longer necessary. It has made traveling and working on the go so much easier and more efficient. Another feature I absolutely love is the plug-and-play functionality. Setup is effortless. I simply connect it using a Type-C cable, and it works immediately — no complicated installation, drivers, or special cords needed. I also appreciate that it comes with additional cables for devices that use other port types, which makes it very versatile. The display quality is crisp, bright, and perfect for multitasking, research work, and presentations. It has been reliable, durable, and consistently performs well. Overall, this monitor has significantly improved my productivity, especially while traveling. I would highly recommend it to students, professionals, researchers, or anyone who needs a dependable and truly portable second screen.

Good for the price point! Was incredibly easy to set up, has all the necessary parts. The screen is only 1080p, I'm not sure how much I would enjoy gaming on it. But I believe it is excellent for work. I love how light and portable it is, I can imagine taking this with me if I'm ever doing remote work or heading to a co-working space.

Needed it for convenience to refer to and type out different docs. Bought it a couple months ago when on sale and despite the negative reviews about it, works just fine. It needs to be powered via usb c adapter or one of your pc’s usb c ports. If not, it goes blank into power saving mode. The stand is a bit flimsy but is stable if you pull the cut out tab to rest on the top and bottom edge of the cut out. (Don’t know if this makes sense but you’ll figure it out. Don’t break it though). Got another 2 units too at the last sale. Comes ready to run out of the box with the necessary cables for hdmi to mini hdmi and usb C to usb C.
