I compared this Amazon price of this Royal Canes cane to the manufacturer's website, and it was actually cheaper on Amazon when you include the shipping cost.It's my 2nd Royal Canes cane, and I'm super happy with the quality and appearance of them both. I'm 6' tall and 220 lbs, and after trimming off 1" (from 37" to 36") it's a perfect fit for me. The woodgrain one I have is beautiful, but this black one is really classy looking.If you need a cane, I highly recommend any of the Royal Canes options, but especially this one!

Overall very helpful

Really disappointed in this cane. After a couple months, the cane's finish has deteriorated to the point that the clear-coat is flaking off. The handle's paint has worn off to the wood from gripping it. The silver band is a cheap plasticky addition that also looks terrible now from normal use.The cane itself does what a cane should do - it's sturdy and comfortable, but the finish on this model is absolutely terrible.
