It’s a great size, every thing I could ask for is included in the extra notes. It’s very explanatory. I love the NKJV. It’s the closest we have to the original scriptures. I love my new Bible. Well done Thomas Nelson. Have thought of everything a decent Bible needs to be truly studied hard. I have many, many translations but this has to be my absolute favourite.

Absolutely in love with this Bible! I have owned several Bibles in my life (38 years) and this is by far the best I’ve ever had. If you are looking to really understand the context of what is happening in these verses than you will find this extraordinarily helpful. Understanding the Bible requires knowing the customs, verbiage in original Greek and Hebrew and a multitude of other things, which this Bible explains as you are reading. The beginning of each chapter gives you a brief history lesson of who wrote it, time period and other interesting facts. It is really helping me with my understanding. It is 2 inches thick, the pages are beautiful, and leather is soft and pretty. If you are a weirdo like me and love the smell of a new book this one’s smells so good too lol!
