Not sturdy enough

We've had it 9 months and it's already breaking. The piece that holds the tags ripped off. Part of the clip is plastic and breaks. The plastic tightener piece also broke. We have an English Mastiff, so she has put some strain on it, but I'm disappointed that it's breaking already.
