I recently added the Godox UB-165W parabolic umbrella to my lighting kit, and the results are outstanding. The umbrella produces beautiful, soft, and even light that works perfectly for portraits, fashion, and commercial photography. The large 165cm size gives a very flattering wrap-around effect, creating smooth shadows and natural skin tones. The white interior provides a clean and soft diffusion without losing power, which is ideal for outdoor and studio sessions. Build quality is excellent. The rods feel strong and durable, and the opening mechanism is smooth and reliable. Even on location shoots, the umbrella remains stable and easy to control. , the Godox UB-165W has quickly become one of my favorite modifiers. If you want professional soft light, great quality, and consistent results, this umbrella is definitely worth it.

This is a perfect lighting modifier that for beautiful portraits. If you want soft, beautiful light fall off and need one light modifier to rules them all. Its easy to use to any of my studio flashes. This is it!

I really like this umbrella and used for a few resent shoots. However as I was setting up for my last shoot the main pole/ rod broke. I thought maybe I could use gorilla tape but it no longer locks in the open position. Sucks. Hopefully seller can help me with a solution.

You can spend less on Godox (and Glow) products and achieve some fantastic results. The photo I attached is straight out of camera… the giant soft light looks so nice and with a good lens it looks so creamy and flattering on skin. This is my go-to modifier in any indoor setting… haven’t tried it outdoors. But it’s basically a sail so bring a buddy or multiple sandbags.

Could not get this umbrella to stay open. The slightest touch or movement would cause it to close. Almost took me out. Sent it back to Amazon for a refund. I was downsizing to a slightly smaller umbrella from a large one I’ve used for years (different brand). I thought Godox was a professional brand. I won’t buy again after my experience.

If you need a large light modifier that is easy to deploy this is your best bet.

Very heavy and closes itself out of nowhere when bumped or moving it on a light stand which is very inconvenient and dangerous to equipment.
