Mrs Peel, We're Needed: The Technicolor world of Emma Peel: Volume 2 (The Avengers on film)

Got the four books from this set and they're all excellent. I always preferred the Tara King season to the colour Diana Rigg one, the stories seemed to have a bit more substance, but nothing tops the B&W Rigg series. The books are positive, more so than reading many of the reviews on The Avengers Forever website

Excellent book.

A trip down memory lane no photo which is a shame but a detail account if each episode in series 5 worth reading just for those of us who remember a time when these kind of series were tongue in cheek good fun and tied by PC madness.

A great second volume written by a team of writers who shed new light on the Mrs Peel colour era. It's so interesting and extremely insightful to read other people's views on these wonderful episodes. This multi-layered show is literally peeled away by the writers revealing many hidden meanings I hadn't previously acknowledged.

Arrived safely, but haven't read it yet !!

NO photos other than the cover, the text is a little on the 'educated' side, so not friendly to a lot of readers. I'm okay with it, but wouldn't seek out other volumes. I does cover my favourite year of the show, and I was hoping the on-location filming locations were better (that was another book I missed, unfortunately).The book looks (almost) home made.
