While not the recommended use I’m sure. Similar products are sometimes used in cold water wetsuit diving. 50 degree water. Works well for that purpose!

We wanted to like this so much. The first couple times we used it, it was great. (After using it, you have to boil it to get it to return to it's normal state for the next use. This is a little bit of a fuss to do, but worth it for the benefits.) On the 3rd time using it, it leaked all over my husband's shirt and the fluid inside the pack actually BURNED HIS SKIN! Our toddler almost got his hand on the leaking fluid as we scrambled to clean it up. A product this expensive should last more than 3 uses. Incredibly disappointing, cannot return after about 30 days. Not worth the risk. It also got on our couch and in turn ruined all the fabric it touched. It hardens as it stains. Don't waste your money!

Intense heat at the push of a button (took me a moment to find it). Easily boils according to instructions for about half an hour after each use, on the stove top or in the kettle on wood stove. I don't have a microwave, so this works well for me. I really like the idea of always having it ready, instead of having to heat it up first when you need it. Provided it doesn't start leaking, it is an excellent product.

Great heat product for my neck. Holds the heat great . Could not find a replacement for my old similar product until I found this on Amazon. Thanks

The Heat Wave neck wrap does what it says it will do- it provides good heat and is good for situations when you need instant heat and don't want to be tied down with a cord. The problem is that EVERY TIME you use it you need to "recharge" it by boiling it. It is large enough that it needs a large pot to fit into and it is not flexible at that point so you can't just force it into just any pot. You have to wrap it in a towel, or put a towel into the pan. Its not a huge deal, but after one use and "recharge" mine has sat in my bathroom closet waiting for the next time that I really need to have the freedom of cordless heat. I'm "saving it" for an occasion that is worth the after care. If what you need is cordless heat (about 30 minutes of really good heat) then this product does what it says. Just be prepared to recharge every time.

This product really works great. When you have a sore muscle or ache and want to apply some heat even after you boil it and it's hot, you can use it without pushing the button.

I ordered this because the brand I wanted wasn't available. I thought because it was expensive and made in the USA it would be a decent ,if not great, product. Very disappointed. Most importantly, it doesn't stay hot long enough. Also, it is not flexible enough to use easily on my shoulders and neck. So, definitely overpriced for how it works, which is not very well. I just wish I had tested it out right away before the time passed for a return.

We have had this heat pack for over a month and we use it daily. It is a great product. We like the neat small size which makes it easy to fold even when stiff, and it fits well in a pan for boiling. The heat lasts at least an hour, often longer. We just ordered another one for an older friend who uses it for her arthritis. This is a great product. If it ever wears out, we will order another!

2nd purchase within about 6 months . The 1st one tore or broke around seal area causing the liquid leaking out and turned into hardened powder. Not sure why that happens to my 1st purchase. Assuming that I accidently broke/tore it. I made my 2nd purchase. Its barely 2 months, it happened again. I will not e purchasing again cause its too expensive given that I bought twice for 3pcs and it barely last me 6months. Is there any way to fix this ??

This is my third heat pack ever and I have to say that it actually retains the heat. Very good, durable quality and the best part is that it melts really fast. So less downtime if you’re using it for pains.

This is the 2nd one I bought within 6months. Not sure why the joining seal lines broke or tore. Oozing out white powdery substance that hardens up just like when it's heated. I assumed its made in the US would be a good product . But was disappointed. Thinking that it could be due to my handling of the product and therefore I purchase a second one (which comes in 2 pcs per order) . One of them happens to break again. Not buying it again as its too expensive and I am not sure if the product can last long enough . Is there something I can do to save this?

This item is complete garbage! Do not buy! I used it once, followed the instructions perfectly and it leaked all over the place. It's not eligable for a refund with no notice upon purchase to this condition, and I'm getting caught in a loop with no option to have it replaced! $50 wasted.

I have been using this Heat Wave Reusable Heat Pack almost daily for the last month and a half. It's easy to push the button in the heat pack to activate it into it's heated state. The friction from the button creates a heated reaction and a solidification of the contents. The heat feels nice and I find that I can still place the pack in a heated state on my skin. Some people may prefer to have a towel between the pack and their skin as it may appear to be too warm for some to have directly on his or her skin. When the pack is cool, it is quite stiff. I use a stock pot to boil it to bring it back to it's reusable state. This takes approximately 15 minutes. If I'm wanting to use it quickly, I will use it once it's been boiled and back to a liquid consistency. The heated liquid in the pack from the heated water in the pot, is also great as a heat pack if you want to use the pack right away. A word of caution: it's very HOT to the touch at this point. A towel between the heat pack and the skin is highly recommended as it is VERY WARM fresh out of the boiled pot. Once the pack has cooled down, I push the button to reactivate it, and I have an extended heat session with the pack. I use the pack on my upper back and neck. This heat pack has been very helpful in alleviating tension. Also can be used as a heat compress for menstrual cramping. It gives great relief here too! ;)
