Surprisingly, for a cheap little humidor... this thing is great. Mine holds humidity just fine. And yes, I calibrated my hygrometer as well. I seasoned it properly though... 84% boveda bag for TWO weeks. No less. Season it right and you won’t have issues unless it’s a construction issue. I also put in a digital hygrometer in mine and it is spot on with my calibrated hygrometer that came with this. Mine looks great, holds humidity well, and is very attractive where I have it. It’s actually a very decent and well built little humidor. You can probably fit close to 12 decent sized stogies in there, even a Churchill! It’s totally worth the money, but it’s not some big fancy humidor... it’s not supposed to be. Great for a beginner or as a gift to somebody.

This is a great 100 - 120 cigar humidor at a great price. I have bought glass top humidors in the past and could never stabilize the RH. This one really works and it is cheaper than the glass tops. Customer service is superb. The hygrometer and humidifier are both much better than most other humidors. They have good weight to them--both feel like quality instruments-- and they both attach to the lid with magnets, which makes removal easy. I love the black leather look--it really looks like real leather but it's better than leather in that it offers more protection and doesn't need any maintenance. I'm sure it also adds another layer of sealing the wood. The interior is beautiful cedar. I wish I had stumbled on this humidor when I first was looking for humidors. It would have saved me a lot of time.

I really like the leather-like look and craftsmanship of this humidor. The set up was easy. I followed instructions included and used distilled water. Thr hygrometer is included and is held in place by magnet. So far it has kept the desired humidity. It would make a really nice gift for a cigar novice or someone who will keep less than 12 regular sized cigars. I married into a Cuban family so cigars are always available.

The case is nice looking and has a humidifier and meter in the case. It holds about 20 cigars, perfect for a weekend or short trip to take an assortment of your favorite cigars along with you. A really great gift for the cigar smoker in your life. I have carried it on several trips and use it in between to hold my cigars for the week. It eliminates the need to open the large cigar humidor constantly. The humidifier is recharged periodically with distilled water. Good looking outside and keeps the cigar perfectly inside.

Got this case for my boss at work for he's birthday. When he opens the package it amazed how good qualities the box is. I took some pictures and want to do some review on what a good purchase I made for the price I paid. The leather are very nice, it's will crafted. The inside wood is hard wood not soft cheap wood. Everything is simple to put together, both humidity gauge and the hygrometer has magnetic back so just place on to magnetic strip. Even though I don't smoke cigar, my boss told show me how to read and take care of the hygrometer. I'm very impressed about this purchase, I mean for the price I paid is worth it.

This box does not hold humidity. I seasoned it per the instructions. I first thought it was me so I moved from using the humidifier to the 69% bags. It still does not hold the humidity. To ensure that it was indeed the humidor, I purchased a large wire bale strap glass jar and put the bags in with the sticks and it holds perfectly. You get what you pay for... UPDATED REVIEW 8 months later I was looking for a humidor to replace my tuperdore (that works), which I put together to replace this one. I came across my review of this product and noticed that the manufacturer left a gracious comment regarding my review, where they urged me to reach out to them so they could send me a replacement. I figured I would send them a note. What would it hurt? The box is currently acting as a coin holder. Worse case scenario they would apologize telling me it was too late. To my surprise they were still very apologetic and requested my mailing address, stating they would send me a replacement. Frankly, this level of customer satisfaction is rare these days. As a result of this, optimistically raising my rating from 1 star to 3 stars, cautious that the product still may not perform but encouraged that this is a company that I am glad to do business with. Very well-made humidor. Looks and feels great! I seasoned it as soon as I received it, but after a few days the humidity dropped to around 59%. Seasoned again and it still kept dropping. I seasoned it 3 or 4 times and then it began holding the humidity. You need patience. It won't season overnight! The best think about this product is the customer service behind it. Very classy people who honor a commitment to excellence!! I replaced the hygrometer and the humidification device, but the humidor itself - I am very happy with! For those who can't get it to hold humidity, reason it 3 or 4 times the correct way, then have patience. It should work fine!

I purchased this product and received the first one with the magnetic board detached from the lid. Amazon sent me a replacement, and the hinges were all popping out. Both will be sent back immediately. See images attached.
