Why buy this bike shoe? My thoughts, and observations…
You might wonder why you should buy a shoe that is dedicated specifically to bike riding. Most common athletic shoes have a wide heel, which hits the chain wheel every rotation. This got to be a problem for a long ride, so I started looking for a solution. These are comfortable, both on and off the bike. Flat bottom sole works well with the pedals on my Yamaha e-bike (didn’t slip at all). Size chart was exact. Great bike shoe for the money!

my search is over!
First clip in shoes were specialized sonomas. Awesome shoe that I wore all the time and after 2 plus years finally wore the soles down that the cleats became exposed. For my second pair I went with specialized tahoes. Great comfort but the sole rubber seemed a little soft and the cleat became exposed after just a semester and a half or so. Then I got some dedicated shoes that I couldn't walk in and I would keep flip flops in my bag. Big pain in the butt. Then I found these guys after a lot of looking. I watched the video on their website and they looked like they could be comfortable for walking. I've always got to gamble somewhat because my feet are a little big and bike shops never seem to carry my size (apparently size 9 is big for a cyclist?). Use these with crank brother candy pedals. Have to remember that they are designed to fit like sneakers (think vans or something). Very comfortable to walk in. I put gelsoles in (some dr. Sholes i picked up at cvs without a lot of looking around) and they feel like a comfortable pair of air force ones (albeit ones with a stiff sole). I wear size 12 in Adidas shell toes (my "universal sizers" lol) and size 46 in these feel great. The laces and straps are cool because you can cinch a little more snug if you need to get into some more serious mashing. If you are looking for a perfect set of clip ins that you can walk around in (for commuting, riding around town, etc and still want to walk around comfortably) I'd say you'd be hard pressed to find a better shoe. Only thing that got me at first is that I needed a box cutter to get the cleat covers off. I guess it's so you can use them without cleats as well? Overall they worked out great. Been wearing them A LOT for a little over a month now (riding around 300 miles a week, lot of walking in them, mowed the lawn in them a bunch of times) and they seem to be holding up pretty good! Very happy!!

Small toe box, very limited grip
I have raceface chester pedals and these shoes can’t hold on at all. My wife has the same pedals and uses five ten shoes with zero issues. Toe box is also very small. My feet scan at a 12.5. I ordered a 13 and my big toe still doesn’t have enough room. First pair of shoes I’ve ever bought with this issue. I’m 40 so I’ve bought plenty of shoes in my time.

Not comfortable
These shoes did not work for me because they were just not the right fit. I usually wear 13 and I got the 13, but they were too small. They were also a bit stiff which made them less comfortable. I cannot speak to the ridability though because I returned them before taking a good ride with them.

Very comfortable but may run "small"
I have already worn these for two fifty-mile rides and they have proven to be comfortable and provide good support. Sole "stickiness" is just right; I had no trouble adjusting pedal foot position during rides. However, as a precaution, I ordered one-size bigger and I was proven right; they may run "small." That notwithstanding, my experience would lead me to conclude that they are very good value for the price.

I reordered a size 47 and they fit great. I was helped out by the various comments ...
Originally ordered size 46 which was to be equivalent to my regular size 12 shoe size. After trying them on, they were too tight. I reordered a size 47 and they fit great. I was helped out by the various comments from other buyers who remarked about this. The thing that helped me most were comments stating that this particular shoe has a wide toe area. I have a wide foot and the wider toe was great for my particular comfort. Most cycling shoes seem to be of narrow construction. These were great. Glad some manufacturers are finally becoming aware of this.

great fit and super comfy
I have ridden my mountain bike, now eMTB, clipped in for an eternity. But now, at 67, I'm thinking it might be better to be able to just step off my pedal when necessary. So these are my first non-cleted MTB shoes. First impressions are the fit and comfort are terrific. Walking is definitely easier than in my Shimano MTB shoes and they feel very solid and firm on my new Race Face platform pedals. I'd say the grip is just OK. I suspect there are shoes with a better grip based on reading other reviews. After all these years though, I am still doing the reverse Dorothy to get off these pedals. Muscle memory. Overall I'd say this is a great shoe at a great price.

Sehr guter, bequemer Schuh in sehr ungeschlagenen Straßenlook.

Jest to but turystyczny. Staranne wykonanie. Noszę rozmiar 44, wiedząc o zaniżonej rozmiarówce, zamówiłem 46 i są idealne. Dobrze wydane pieniądze. Polecam.
