![Black Phone 2 - Limited Edition Steelbook (4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray + Digital Copy) [Blu-ray]](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71ThK5HKJJL.jpg)

True evil transcends death. The black phone rings again as The Grabber (Ethan Hawke) returns to torment Finn, the teen who killed him, from beyond the grave — this time by menacing his sister Gwen. Haunted by horrific visions, the teens set out to end their psychological torture, only to uncover a disturbing secret as they confront a killer who has grown even more powerful in death. Studio: Universal Pictures Genre: Horror / Thriller / Suspense Rating: R Director: Scott Derrickson Review: Phenomenal follow up to the first film - Amazing movie, very intriguing and thrilling. Highly recommended for those who love mystery, thrillers, supernatural occurrences, and underdog comebacks Review: Someone In Hollywood Is Working With a Spiritual Heart and Integrity Finally! - This was very high quality and blew my mind. There was victorious Spiritual Warfare! There was integrity in the hearts of those who created this. Actors were all excellent. Lots of gore, but that was overridden by the story. There are real people who have abilities and dreams, and they get treated exactly like the girl dealing with that in this movie. They react in fear and accuse. I enjoyed seeing her stand like a Warrior and tell off those accusers.

Funny Horror Movie
This was one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. Hear me out. I know it is a horror. It is slightly campy and the writers are brilliant with the one liners. It is also the goriest movie I have seen in a while, which isn't my thing but the combination of humor and horror made it great for all of us on movie night. There is something for everyone.

Dark
Dark, creepy, and intense. 📞 The Black Phone 2 brings the scares back with a darker tone and solid performances. Not nonstop horror, but the suspense keeps you hooked. Definitely worth watching if you liked the first one. 👀🍿

Not as great as the first, but okay
Meh, I was disappointed. I loved the first one, and the trailer for this one made it look even better. The twist in the movie was good and unexpected, I liked the way it was shot to signal that Gwen was in a dream. However, I found myself somewhat bored and not as captivated like I was in the first movie. It was fine. Not great, not bad, but fine.

Not even Ethan Hawk could save this movie
This movie was so bad, not even Ethan Hawk could save it. This was nothing like the first one. It genuinely felt as though AI had written the script, or if anything AI could have done a better job with proper prompting. It's not even funny bad. I was hoping at some point it would be, but at no point did it try to be anything else. You could see they were trying to do something similar to "A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors", but the acting was so terrible. The girl kept throwing out 80s based idioms and insults without even knowing how to use them properly. The movie progressively gets worse over time until the final act where it's just a train wreck with no salvageable parts to it. The writer and director of this mess should be ashamed of themselves for subjecting people to this trash. This movie is what they used to torture Alex from "A Clockwork Orange", when they clamped his eye's open. I'm speaking about this movie in the past sense because it is dead to me and if they even thought about making a 3rd one, I hope anyone who brings that idea up "accidentally" drinks antifreeze with their mountain dew. Lastly, I'm sure you wonder why we watched it all the way through. We paid for it and felt the need to at least "get our money's worth", in addition we were hoping at some point someone would just pop up on the screen and say, "Just kidding!" here's the real movie. Or even one scene we could say, "this is it, this makes the whole movie worth it". Something like Darth Vader walking down the hall, doing his force thing, attacking all the rebel troops in his way, worth it moment.... NOPE!!

Fantastic ghost story; great ending to an already creepy story.
The title says it all, except: *Spoilers ahead* ... ... ... I find it hilarious that the only characters who died in this (in the present) were the performative Christians. xD So sick of those ppl IRL, and think it's hilarious that they think their performative and excessively nosey 'piety' disguised as self-righteous bluster in public (and undisguised revelry in the suffering of those the supposed 'Christians' hate) is actually going to get them into heaven. It absolutely will not.
