LED License Plate Light Tag Lamp Assembly Compatible Chevy Silverado 1500 2500 3500 Suburban Tahoe GMC Sierra Yukon XL for Escalade(2 pack)

I ordered this set of license plate lights to replace the pitiful old units that were on my truck. The lousy lights that came from the factory seem to go through bulbs really quick, and for the cost of just a couple bulb changes, I could buy these LED replacements. The lights arrived quickly, and seem to be about as well built as something can be for only $12.99. Installation was pretty straight forward once I was able to get the factory lights removed, and the results are amazing! These things are like miniature headlights aimed right at my license plate! Overall, I'm 100% happy with these lights.

First off, these were 13 bucks at time of review. They do work but honestly I'd spend a could bucks more for a higher quality model. The fit is very loose. They are smaller than the OEM light which still fits tight. The assembly is also not even remotely water resistant. I doubt the longevity. The main issue I had was the way it fit into the truck light socket. The bulb had exposed wires that were shoved into the vehicle- side light socket. Kinda like cheap Christmas lights. Unless you are absolutely in need of cheap lights I'd look at another option.
