Simply brilliant idea. Simplistic
Simply brilliant idea. Simplistic, straightforward, and low maintenance, provided you stay on top & change pads 2x a week. Do that and your cleanup is Easy and not messy; go over 5 days on a pad and the pad is saturated and stuff spills during cleanup - uuggghhh. Virtually zero learning curve for any cat who is not a complete psycho. Be honest.... Maybe I’m overly aggressive but it’s not worth trying to get an extra day or 2 out of the pads. Really?, you want to skimp on something that is critical to your feline friend and also has the ability to smell as bad as a rotting fish, at least the regular litter does that in my house. This system has blown me away so far as I was a skeptic to my wife’s plan on this. She was right, of course. This system and pads hold a lot of waste and do a great job of containing the normal cat litter smell. Best advice is to buy the complete system and then order additional pads. Good product. You can thank me later.....your cat will be happy quickly and love you more now!

No Cleaning Involved
The "Easy to Clean" section for The Purina Tidy Cats Breeze Pads is not applicable. The pad absorbs your cat's urine and is discarded as necessary and replaced with a fresh pad. The tray the pad rests in, however, will require washing off occasionally. The Breeze combination of the absorbing pellets and pads is an ingenious system and we are pleased with how well our cats adapted to it. There are perhaps more 'convenient-no muss, no fuss' products on the market, but the humans still must 'take out the trash' despite the claims of the manufacturers. The Purina Breeze is as quick and easy as cat latrine duty can get.

Excellent odor control
Expensive, but worth it in small spaces, as in our boat and RV. For home use, I get the Amazon brand ones, which are more economical but don't control odor quite as well.

I love the Breeze system
I can't even explain how much I love the breeze system for my cat. Although she does manage to get some of the "pebbles" out, it is minimal. The smell is almost non existent (thanks, pads!) and my cat seems cool with it all. Tip - to extend the life of the pads, I flip the tray around after 2 or 3 days (my cat pees towards the front and not at all at the back of the pan) and that extends the pad use before it is full and there is a smell. When my local pet store stopped carrying breeze refills I panicked for a moment but a quick browse of Amazon turned up the refills for a fair price. Love that it is prime as well so I don't have to wait long if I run out before I re-order. Great product and very effective.

Pricey but good
A bit pricey but a handy way to provide for your cats' needs. I have 2 cats and only one of them uses this and only to urinate. But, even so, it makes cleanup a bit easier and their area stays somewhat cleaner

Just make sure the brand name says Tidy Cats
This might be a newer version of the cat pads, as long as it says Tidy Cats you should be fine but just be careful you don't buy a knockoff version.

I will never go back to regular litter ever again
I love theses so much. I use the whole Breeze system. I will never go back to regular litter ever again. I like that the box fills with the breeze pellets. When my cat gets out, sometimes a few pieces might come out. All I have to do is take two seconds to grab them and throw them back into the box. No mess everywhere, I don't have to grab a broom or the vacuum to clean up the pellets that come out of the box. These pads are so great. With the breeze system, there is a little drawer at the bottom of the box. You pull it out once a week drop the pad into the trash can, then put on a new and slide it back in. I use the big bag of pellets so I only have to completely change the litter about ever two months. With the pee, getting trapped in the pads there is no urine smell.
