An essential spice
This is essential in Indian cuisine. The one I received was very hard clumped together so I had to grind it in sections, which was my only complaint. Otherwise flavor and scent were great.

Product date!
Herbs & spices should have, at least, a 2-4 year date. This one has just one year. The lid is a bit discolored and the label has begun to peel so it probably was sitting around for a while.
