CURT 17120 Replacement Weight Distribution Hitch Shank, 2-Inch Receiver, 5-5/8-Inch Drop, 8-7/8-Inch Rise

Quality product seems very solid. Used this on my 2016 superduty to get enough drop for our 30 ft. TT. I used it with our EAZ Lift WD set up as the shank that came with it was not able to drop the head low enough to level the camper for towing on this new truck. This CURT shank does extend outwards a little longer but that is no big deal for me and may be of benefit to some as it would allow more room to drop the tailgate while hitched up. I would like to have found a 2 1/2 by 2 1/2 with this much available drop but this will do just have to use the adapter sleeve for the class V hitch. Any class V shank i found did not provide this much drop. Overall I would recommend this to others especially when you factor the price into the equation...Amazon prime made this a very easy purchase.

Worked well leveling out

Needed a longer drop hitch for my RV. This is heavy! It worked for exactly what I needed.

Exactly what I needed, unfortunately very heavy and does not do well with shipping, box heavily damaged because item was not secured in the box. Would recommend, but would not recommend having shipped.

Had a custom rear bumper installed with a built-in receiver tube on my 1995 Ford F250 PowerStroke. The receiver tube is now almost 2" higher than my old set-up and I was max'd out in the "drop" of the stock shank that came with kit 17222. I ordered shank 17120, now my 1987 Avion sits level again while towing. Simple, HEAVY design. Recommend highly. I have nothing but the highest praise for Curt. They have fantastic products, and exceptional product support! Received in 2 days!

This is solid steel, and the weight is there to prove it. The hitch pin is a bit too far out for my liking and it causes this hitch to project out way more then I would hope, but I had to trust their design, and we made it over 3000 miles no problem. It was exactly the right item for us, and matched our Reese WD hitch perfectly.

Exactly what was needed to lower our travel trailers nose a tad. Was up a bit too much after adding a lift kit to 2018 Chevy Silverado LTZ 4x4 Mid Nite editon truck. Exactly as described. Perfect fit. Great price!! Name brand product. Would buy again.

The hitch that came with my camper was not a big enough drop. When I would hook up the camper correctly and set my truck up to where it was level the camper would be too low in the back. Ordered this worked with my Reese weight distribution system with zero issues. Good quality very well built. Came in a little beaten up, the shipper must of been lacking some muscle. Because it had some nicks and sctaches on it.
