Put this on an FJ cruiser 4.0 v6, and yeah it’s fine, little stony on the highway Ngl… makes me wanna soundproof althought maybe it’s gotten better w some miles… it’s not that bad tho and perfect volume in town… but highway… ehhhh

I had a flowmaster for many years on my 2005 Silverado Z71. It sounded pretty good until I put shorty headers, trick flow heads and a cam in it and it just turned obnoxious. I kept reading how this Borla muffler was a little quieter while still having an aggressive sound when accelerating. The price was right so I pulled the trigger. This muffler is freakin awesome! The tone is fantastic and my neighbors love me again. For me it was all the good reviews come to life. Very happy with my purchase.

Bought this to replace two small glass packs the previous owner had put on my truck. The glass packs were load and sounded horrible. This muffler sounds fantastic with a low rumble. It is not loud on start up and when driving at low RPM's on the highway. An added bonus is it does get loud when you romp on it. It is a well build muffler and great for the price.
