This book tells you the story behind the man as it shows you the images in a chronological manner. As I scrolled through the pages, I realized that the man Dali was more trippy than any of his paintings, and the best way I can describe him is "a fever dream of Sigmund Freud". Fascinating book if you do not mind forbidden adult themes. After this, you will likely want to pick up The Shameful Life of Salvador Dali by Ian Gibson.
