Fast and easy way to transform wood

I wish I'd tried this years ago. I needed to darken some furniture to blend in better with walnut shelving, and I went for Briwax because the lighter wood had been oiled. I thought it was going to be a fiddly job, but it went on like a dream and dried fast to the perfect colour. I didn't want a high shine, but it's not hard to buff it up if you do. And there's so much in the can that it'll take me years to use it all – I'm tempted to treat my desk with it now. Really excellent product.
