Dutch Master Daffodils (25 Bulbs) - Yellow Daffodil Narcissus Bulbs

I planted the bulbs in late March/early April, shortly after I received them in NJ. I thought I was too late. It was almost comical. Each day bulbs would be heaved out of the ground, and I would replace them. They didn't just come to the surface. It was as if they were ejected from the ground. They would land several inches away and I'd have to collect them before the squirrels dined on them. Eventually, I just replanted bulbs in a large pot with protection from the squirrels. In late April, I transferred the potted bulbs to the ground. They had developed extensive roots. I am happy to say that in the second week of May many of the daffodils bloomed!!

Despite having planted these 25 Daffodil Bulbs at least a month late, they grew and bloomed beautifully! Not only that, every single bulb bloomed. We were just delighted. The bulbs were for my husband in particular. He is from Wales, where the national flower and a symbol of national identity is indeed the daffodil. Most people try to have daffodils in bloom by March 01st, which is St. David's Day and the Welsh National Day. Ours came three weeks later, but only because I procrastinated in getting them into the ground! Will certainly be buying more...and planting earlier.

I was very pleased with the bulbs I received. All but one were in great shape and many contained smaller attached bulbs that could bloom in their second season.

These bulbs are SUCH high quality! I was ill for months and could not plant them in the fall, so the soonest I could plant them was March 1 (I do not recommend waiting like this), and they still came up and bloomed BEAUTIFULLY! EVERY SINGLE ONE. Thanks ever so much.

Received a bag as a Chrismas gift. There were 25 bulbs in the bag. 7 out fo the 25 were dried up to the point of dust. I hope to enjoy the ones I was able to plant. Sad that 25% of the bag was not usable.
