My knee had been clicking, popping and hurting really bad before I tried these but after using them for a few days the pain subsided so much that I almost walked out of the house without putting them on because the pain had subsided so much!!! I will say this though, make sure to measure the circumstance of your knee for the best possible fit. You may experience some initial uncomfortableness until you get the straps exactly where you need them to be but give it some time and you won't regret sticking it out. This is not a cure all but it came very close relieving most if not all of my knee pain.
