Ameriflame TI350T Medium/Heavy Duty Portable Welding/Cutting/Brazing Outfit with Plastic Carrying Stand Plus Oxygen and Acetylene Tanks

Absolutely love it. Got it for a better price than at a major home improvement store. Doesn't come with the gases...but that's fine as it would be dangerous to send those. Came exactly as described and was shipped well. Item is exactly what we needed for our home improvement projects. I don't think I would use it for commercial projects, but perfect for things around the house!

First package had been broken into and had major parts missing. Amazon fixed this in a timely manner. Second package had a knob missing, and one of the adapters was the wrong size. The manufacturer fixed this. I would have given this 5 stars if it had been complete from the start.

Recieved the torch set in just 2 days. At first I thought this set would be comparable to the stuff at HF Tools since the prices were about the same. These are definitely better. The torch handle clearly has Uniweld, UL, and the most important stamp "USA" on it. The hoses are also the quality Goodyear brand. Had no issues trading the bottles for full ones, about $30. Take your receipt to show proof of ownership. For about $315, have a new set of torches full of gas.

Do not buy these with tanks the oxygen tank is not DOT certified no respectable dealer will fill or trade this tank for you you will have to buy another one at about 80 dollars. You should not under any circumstances fill a tank without a cert they have not been tested for pressure or leaks and when the best case scenario is that the tank might leak and cause a fire it is not worth it. Fluctuation in pressure or the filling process itself can cause tanks to explode killing or injuring those around it this is the reason for the DOT inspection and life trace of the tank so you know from its manufacturing date to its retire date that it is safe.

This item came with a non DOT oxygen tank that no one will fill in the Pacific North West. We found this out when we dropped the bottles off for filling. We now have a full acetylene bottle that cannot be sent back and an oxygen bottle that cannot be filled. We would like to send only the oxygen bottle back and get a DOT certified tank but there is no apparent mechanism to do so. Buyer beware...

...and definitely cheaper that the name brand outfits out there. Half of Victor at my local welding supply store. But one word of caution - small bottles are more expensive to fill per volume than larger ones, and since the cutting/braising time won't be very long with this small set then you'll be hammered quite often. But when you need something small and portable, this should fill the bill.

Nice little torch kit. I have only used it for cutting, the gas goes quick so get larger cylinders or keep a set of two. Otherwise, the little caddy helps and the tips are interchangeable with most major brands. Get the propane tip for cutting saves alot of money on acetylene. ! Overall, this is the cheapest torch out there for basic users.

worked perfectly !!! the Oxygen tank was not DOT approved but i had no issue getting it swapped out for no charge at my local welding store i paid 40$ for the filling including state taxes or exc fees they have. It comes in the perfect size and the handle isn't at an awkward position so that a plus! comes with everything you need!

I received my torch set but it is damaged. I don't know how to contact the seller. I don't want to exchange it to prevent this box from being destroyed. I would just like a little compensation. The rest of the set is in perfect condition.

I ordered this. The bottles can't be filled in the UK. BS standard bottles have a different fitment so the regulators won't fit. Adapters for the regulators from US to Uk are extensive and hard to get hold of Don't buy if in the UK
