I was very skeptical; however, these piping tips are great! The seller also sent an awesome PDF of recipes (I used their basic buttercream frosting and it was perfect) and helpful tips. That was great to have. The reuseable bag isn't the best. Mine popped a hole halfway through its first use. That being said, the tips themselves were very easy to use and produced great results! My daughter wanted a unicorn cake she saw at a local grocery store bakery that started at $80! We were super pleased with the results (see picture). I did several practices on a cutting board, first. The only problem I had, which may be a user error/needs more practice, was I had trouble getting the flowers to adhere on the sides of the cake. Overall, great, great product! I actualy have been trying to think of the next thing that I could possible make a cake for just to use these tips! Fun! I want to try and get the other designs.

This set is the perfect size for a beginner such as myself or for someone who just needed a few basic tips for their collection.I also received a helpful e book which came with my order; it is very easy to follow with several colored photos. The e book is laid out nicely for a quick and easy reference guide, it also includes recipes.I had a question so I emailed Cake & Deco; their response back to me was most impressive...within 24 hrs.If your searching for the perfect little gift for someone who loves to bake this would be it, the packaging for this set is amazing! Everything came in a little box. Its organized and doesn't take up a lot of room. Today the day my kit arrived, the company sent me a PDF file complete with everything you need to know about this kit. I printed the file, and now have a great notebook with everything I need to work with this kit. The file included technique, recipes for frostings, and pictures of each tip, and what flower it makes. No guess work.I went back online tonight and ordered three more multi color couplers so that I can work with my granddaughters on a baking project. Price was affordable.My granddaughters ages 8 and 10 are looking forward to some holiday baking. I bought this kit to teach them how to make some very impressive baked goods as they are already handy with my basic cake decorating kit..I can't wait for us to get started with our holiday baking projects.

All the piping tips were well made, and there are a LOT of them. They cleaned up easily in my dishwasher and didn't tarnish at all.Unfortunately, there are no instructions or "this tip looks like this" so when I frosted the cupcakes it was a lot of trial and error. They still turned out great and the frosting tips are super fun, but knowing what each one looks like when used would have been helpful.The disposable piping bags are not great, though. When I tried to use the 3-in-1 set to make a rainbow effect, the bag ripped when I screwed on the ring that holds the tips in place, tons of frosting came out around the ring. I had to use other bags I had on hand. The reusable bag that came with the set works great though.With that being said, this kit is still totally worth the price just for the frosting tips.

These tips are amazing. It takes a little practice and the proper frosting consistency. if you are a newbie, don't overlook using the right consistency frosting, or you'll be disappointed with the results. Like all piping techniques, you need to learn just how much pressure to use, and when to stop making the icing flow.The packaging is adorable, would make a great gift for the baker in your family. A lot of product is packed into this small box. The user guide which is provided after your order is received, is especially well-written. I recommend printing it out and putting it in your favorite baking cookbook or recipe binder. The guide to the different tips makes a very handy reference.I think older children would enjoy being able to create nice designs without having to master more difficult traditional piping skills. Anything to get the kids in the kitchen ( and teach them chemistry in disguise), while they are having fun baking.
