I fit this over the one inch exhaust pipe on a diesel air heater I was fitting into a box for camping. I really liked the quality and the sleeve fit perfectly over the exhaust pipe. I used metal zip ties to secure it at either end. I cut a short piece to double insulate the pipe where it exits the box. It expands diameter as needed so worked out very well. Looks very professional, reduces radiated heat to a safe level, had no noticeable smell after the first use and appears to be durable. Good product.

Used this to re-route a fixed steel heater line with Gates Green Stripe rubber hose (an odd "pesky" heater hose workaround for my 80 series). Slid this over the Gates hose to provide extra protection from engine heat. Fit great. Quality was great. Very happy I added this layer of protection - and the black lets it hide in the engine bay like any other hose.

I couldn't find insulated wire covers anywhere. I was excited when I found this on Amazon. Fast delivery and was exactly as expected, I used this to cover the wires on the replacement igniter on my gas oven. I only needed about 6 inches, so will have some for other projects.

THis is a great product an can be cut to the proper length for each spark plug boot/wire. I have Stainless Steel Racing headers which would incinerate anything close to them. THis product had my boots and wires looking like new even after 18 months of use!

I bought this to re-insulate the cracked insulation on my 40 year old battery cables. Nice tight weave, uniform color, matches the 6mm version I bought for some other wires exactly. It expands a bit, then goes right back to its nominal size. Should work perfectly with a small band of marine heat shrink at each end.
