Fantastic pizza stone
A hefty, thick pizza stone that retains heat well and helps develop a perfect crust. Fits nicely into a standard 60cm oven, and will easily accommodate a large family size pizza. The included serving rack and peel are of good quality, while the included booklet of tips and recipes will be useful for the beginner. Wipes clean after use with a dry cloth, although you can use a spatula for any stubborn burnt spills - it doesn't have to be spotless though, and will develop a patina with use.Manufacturers packaging is brilliant by the way, with a sturdy box and form-fitted foam insert to prevent any risk of damage in transit.

Brilliant pizza stone
These are well packaged, I have kept the box for easy storage. I have received one as a gift and have bought another as I am so pleased with them. I have used these both in an indoor oven and on a bbq. They improve the base of the pizza greatly and I’d recommend to anyone who enjoys the art of home made hand crafted pizzas.

Definitely makes a difference to home made Pizza.
Since lockdown I have been trying to make my own pizzas at home. I am baking in an electric fan assisted oven (on Pizza) setting but struggling to get the same texture on the base as you would get in an Italian pizzeria. An Italian colleague mentioned this to me and suggested that I try it.The item arrived quickly and was well packaged. On opening up the box I did notice that there is a scratch on the stone (shown in one of the photos). But not so severe so I decided not to return.I wiped over the surface of the stone and the peel with a damp cloth and then placed the stone into the cold oven before heating up. The stone heated up well and dispersed the heat evenly. I would recommend flouring the peel and stone before placing the dough on them (it will help the pizza slide on and off).I cooked 2 pizzas as a test, one on the oven shelf and one on the stone. The one on the stone definitely had the crispier base and provided a nicely browned/charred finish. This has got to be the most successful effort so far and really pleased with the taste and texture.I left the stone in the oven to cool down completely before removing and wiping over. They’re are some stains and marks left that would not wipe off but I have been told that, much like a seasoned wok, this adds to the flavour of the future pizzas and does not affect the performance.Overall I am really pleased and believe that I will order a second on (my wife wants her veggie pizza cooked on it) :-).

Great ( just finished stuffing my face with pizza it made)
So great. Where are a few things that it is missing like a back guard (we used metal spatula to hold the back half, to stop pizza sliding, not vital). That is it. Nothing else could be said even slightly bad about this product. Worked wonderful, and even came with instructions that were spot on.The review asks for a rating for flavour... well it has none yet (new stones should not have any, but develop them in time) so gave it a three, as there was no flavour as it should be, so seemed odd question.Thickness is average but I have seen some with better bottom half to store heat, although this was still a thick and solid item.Value is great, this will save us having to buy pizza from store ever again and will save us more money in long run then it cost. Better too.

Amazing product!
The delivery arrived on time.The product was carefully packaged to avoid the stone to break during the transit. I used it the same day for a family dinner and I wasn't disappointed. The stone heated up in 40 minutes (full power oven) and the pizza was cooked to perfection.The paddle's handle should probably be slightly longer to facilitate when placing the pizza into the oven. But the wood's quality is superior. I suggest to put enough flour to prevent to dough from sticking to the paddle.I definitely recommend this product.

Hard to tell
I bought two of these. I can tell that I've tried few different options to do my pizza using these baking stones and not one of them change anything. The pizza bottom was the same as from any other pizza tray's. The wooden paddle is nicely finished but is not good to use at all as a rant on the edge is too big and I don't know how you can pick up pizza from the baking stone - tried many, many times...Trully hard to tell and I did not see any difference of baking. If I could I would return it but I used it and I don't know if I can.

Top quality pizza stone
I ordered this pizza stone gift set for my sister as she loves her cooking! I am really pleased with this purchase and the pizza was also very tasty. The stone itself is very practical, a good size which fits into the oven perfectly and very easy to use. I'll be ordering a few more so we can use them in our family business as it really does make a difference to the quality/taste of the pizza once it's cooked. I can't wait to use it on my barbecue in the summer! It's the perfect gift and i'll definitely be purchasing from this retailer again.

well presented
The product was very well packaged and arrived undamaged.I'm still unsure about the merit of pizza stones in general however, in a domestic oven, the word gimmick springs to mind.My bread dough making skills are pretty good after much previous practice, but I still managed to make a complete mess of the first attempt. This I felt was partly due to the "Thick" bamboo peel, I would have preferred a metal one. I think it would have been easier to slide the dough onto the stone. As it was it all ended up in a bit of a gooey puddle on the stone.As a consequence the stone is now stained and any attempt to remove the dried on mozzarella and tomato resulted in the stone showing signs of wear. This material isn't as hard and robust as I had imagined. I'll persevere and try again but I have my doubts.
