another great G shock model, the GD350
a great priced G shock, but sadly Casio have now dropped this model from there range the watch was delivered within 10 days from the USA but as is normal, the watch box packing was badly damaged lol watch was fine so still a bargain on the UK price

The instant access countdown timer is awesome.
A proper no-frills G-Shock with an excellent display.

Best digital G-Shock!
The best digital G-shock I have ever used! I actually have the GD350-1C version, which is a USA model that has blue lettering on the front case (mine is made in China). It is otherwise identical to the image on Amazon for this product as far as I can see. Pros: -Very clear and legible display with outstanding viewing angles (the contrast and digits do not distort significantly when viewed at extreme angles, which is very impressive, unlike other G-shocks with inferior LCD panels) -Visually very attractive watch, beautifully painted lettering and well finished black resin case/strap -Strap is very good, with easy to use stainless steel buckle -Ergonomically sound, all buttons press well, with a good set of basic features including vibration -LED illumination lights the whole digital dial so it is crystal clear -Appears very well built, but time will confirm this -Very comfy on wrist Cons: -I'm not fully convinced the plastic wings underneath the watch actually provide additional benefit, but these can be removed if necessary.

Great daily wear G-Shock at a great price point. A lovely beefy boi but not a wrist-cake
Review of the Casio G-Shock GD350-1C digital watch. The watch is a pretty good all rounder and stylish to boot. It is sturdy and conforms to the wrist well, currently my wrist is about 6.25” and I havent found the watch to be overly large or cumbersome, nor does it feel weighty on-wrist. It wouldnt fit under a fitted dress shirt sleeve most likely but for all other occasions I find it doesnt pose a problem. I dont find it to be overly chunky although imeho by and large for most people, when considering a G-Shock watch some amount of heft and ch0nk is a given and expected. The watch features are as follows, in order of appearance upon pressing the mode button - Timekeeping - in this mode you have timekeeping but can also start the countdown timer with a press of a button (it’ll time down from whatever it is preset to then read ‘TIMES UP!!!’ when it finishes and chosen alarm goes off), great for one-click operation from the main screen. All the usual set up of the watch is programmable from here via the top right/adjust button. World Time - 100 cities are available for selection, the name of the city scrolls along which is a nice feature to have. Alarm - 5 x alarms that can be set to 1 time, daily, off/on, plus a ’signal’ that can be set for hourly alarm, for example. Stopwatch - Chronograph with a basic split function, no multilap with recall but suits many a purpose effectively. Countdown Timer - settable from 01 second up to 24 hours. no autorepeat function. The alarm function can be set to either ‘vibration’ or ‘sound with flash alert’. The volume of the beeps is loud enough to be heard in most environments and the vibration is strong enough to register a timer has finished for example I’ve found, its not a janky or sharp vibration but neither is it soft so much that one would miss its activation. I reviewed the negative LCD version of this G-Shock some years ago and have actually found since that it is powerful enough to wake one from sleep too. Your mileage may vary but I think it’s still a pretty solid function. The screen itself is very legible and is easy to read at all angles (some LCD displays can wash out or it be hard to read the digits when not front on or <30 degrees of that), the digits themselves are pretty big by most watches of this size standards. The illuminator light is white and rather bright, one would have no trouble viewing it in the dark. The ‘auto illuminator’ can be switched on/off by holding the front ‘G’ button for a few seconds and is great for hands-free low light reading of the watch face. The top right window displays whether a certain function is on/off, namely button mute/timer (when one is running)/vibration/auto-light, moving clockwise around said window. Top left is two rows that break down the minutes and the seconds into segments. it either fills up or removes away a little block for every minute that passes for the top row and the bottom row just ticks by second by second, fills up, counts down, fills up, counts down. I havent found a truly great application for it but it looks nice and adds to the overall aesthetic but if you need a minute counter (plus the seconds ofc) for up to ten minutes, from the main screen, it has application there I guess? :-? The buttons can be muted or set to on where every button pressed registers a beep, I tend to have them set to off but for those that like the retro feel (in example) its there if you want it. :) It looks pretty rad, not a massive wrist cake but not an F91a either. Personally I think it’s like a beefed out and modernisation of the much loved DW5600 (and its iterations), and its functions reflective of that. The blue on the bezel too me looks like a medium sky blue tone and adds a nice bit of snap to the overall look. Just put this review out there for anyone considering one as its a pretty awesome watch if you can score them at the current price, sub £80. They were discontinued ‘for real this time’ around June/July 2021 so its like, snap one up if you’re on the fence about one, I did. :) I think the GD350-1B and GD350-8 are the ones that are most surplus so they’ll be around for a while longer but this model here GD350-1C and GD350-1CR I feel will be harder to come by soon, especially at this price. I bought it because I’d been mulling a second one over for ages and am glad I did. :D It comes with a box and stand and all the manuals and papery bits that is usual for a G-Shock, arrived perfectly fine and undamaged. Some model of G-Shocks come in tins but I was expecting this packaging as I think this was a release that was mainly found in the big box stores over in the USA. Item arrived via Amazon/sold by Amazon in a large bubble mailer from the USA and was in perfect condition. I’ve added a few pictures to show how it wears and sits on the wrist. Thanks for reading, seriously its a rad G-Shock so if you get one hope you enjoy your purchase as much I do mine! Peace!

It looks great and it feels even better. It’s big but not that big, I found it very comfortable and very light on my wrist. The backlight and it’s color is the best I’ve seen on any other digital watch. And the best part for me is the vibration alarm, GREAT gadget. You can set how long it lasts up to 5 seconds and also you can set it to light up automatically when you turn your wrist to look at the time. You can also change the order of day and month on the date, it’s a must have! The seller was the best.

Great original Casio watch in a colour combo that’s hard to come by, and although the title says GD350-8 I got in touch with the seller who quickly got back and let me know that this is indeed the GD350-1C (all black with blue letters as seen in the photo). Shipment was very fast too. Very happy with the purchase!

I’ve been using this watch every day for three months now, and I am very satisfied with the purchase. The product’s benefit/cost ratio is really good. The GD350-1 has all the features you’d expect for a digital watch: world time, stopwatch, alarm, timer and backlight (LED). Plus some unique and convenient functions, like the one-button accessible timer and the vibe-alarm, which is useful not only for military purposes, but also for everyday situation, like when you need to wake up in a shared room without waking up anyone else, or when you’re making a presentation and need to control the time. (you can't set it to vibrate and chime at the same time, though) Compared to other G-Shock I own, from the MT-G series, this one looks bigger, but it’s more lightweight. The band fits comfortably, and the display is clear and easy to read. The design is cool and, IMHO, well-thought. For example, the buckle’s double-pin united in the middle prevents it from bending easily; the flaps in the band help you feel the vibration, and I guess they are part of the “shock resistant structure” to keep the curvature of the band and protect the watch when it falls with the caseback facing down. At first I didn’t like much the “red band” of the backlight, but together with the “countdown bars” (in the top-left of the display), it gives a dramatic look for when you’re using the timer, like those video game or movie endings, when everything is going to explode and they put a red countdown on the screen. The only 2 complaints I have are: 1 – It doesn’t feature the Tough Solar technology, otherwise it would be the perfect watch. But I guess that’s okay, for this price. 2 – Amazon got me a GD350-1 instead of a GD350-1C, as specified in the product’s page (ASIN: B01C71NW9U). The former has red details and the letters are in light gray, while the latter have the “g-shock” and “protection” written in electric blue. In the end, I thought the GD350-1 was cooler, so I kept it anyway. This isn’t much a complaint, it’s more like a warning for those who want this specific color, which is more uncommon.
