Have used for two weeks. Never had one before. Bought it because I moved to an area that had dry weather that adversely affected my skin and eyes. This has helped me tremendously. I use only distilled water. Found it easy as possible to set up and use. I give this unit maximum stars.

I bought a unit like this from a store before the coronavirus pandemic. It worked well, so I bought an identical unit from Amazon since stores were closed. It took over a month for Amazon to ship it. The box arrived wet, damaged and re-taped, like it was a returned unit (see pictures). I tried to return it when I saw the box's condition, but Amazon's website said the return period expired (Amazon penalizes you even if it's their fault for taking so long to ship it). I had no choice but to keep it. Fortunately, the unit itself was undamaged since it was encased in a protective cardboard shell. Things I like about it - not too expensive;. aesthetically pleasing; quiet; can be used for three nights before refilling; portable and light; mist volume is adjustable; filter cartridge isn't expensive/is readily available/lasts for 40 days; easy weekly maintenance (put 1 tablespoon of vinegar with water in base and 2 tablespoons of vinegar with water in canister); reliable. Things I don't like about it - a white film appears on furniture, glass, plastic, glasses, TV, etc.; refilling requires you to take entire unit to the sink so you don't make a mess (when you separate the canister from the base, water will drip from the canister's base); the canister's teardrop shape requires you to position it carefully in the sink while refilling; every three months or so, a film of residue forms inside the canister and it's difficult to clean it (need to use a flexible brush that fits in the canister opening to scrub off film. Overall, I like the unit and would buy again. I would buy it from a store though (once they open again), since it's the same price and Amazon's delivery/customer service is going downhill.

My roommate ordered a different brand (also on Amazon) The quality of this item far surpasses the quality of the other. This one cost less, is very easy to fill and operate, and operates quietly. I would buy it again.

I put this in my daughter’s room and it really does well in the humidificstion. It’s easy to use, easy to fill and doesn’t leak. It fits a whole gallon of water! Great quality.
