Got load of advise , buy Green laser ,easy to see outside ,,well easier but this little gadget take the guesswork out ,, fitted to a staff its indispensable ,, make life so much easier , there is a fine line between continuous tone, to not registering at all, its that finely tuned , level on top is easy to see and hold vertical .Couldn't go back to just a plank and pins or even a dumpy level . If doing any plum work or levels ,,this is worth the money .The brand itself is a bit more expensive than a lot of other "Chinese" brands but so far reliable .

Worked well - currently indoors only. Laser has to be set into pulse mode. Accurate and loud. Well built and adaptable to fit a pole etc.

I using this device quite a lot with my Huepar laser level and I think it’s really good product that can compete with big brands. I had one little issue with the receiver not receiver itself but its brackets/clamp. And I have contacted manufacturer to report my problem. It didn’t take too long to solve my problem. Everything was resolved smoothly and I definitely would recommend this brand not just because it’s good product but also because how customer service of this company dealing with customer100%

I am using this detector with Huepar Laser Level GF360G I am very pleased with the performance it enables the laser to be used at really big distances even outside in full sun. I have used it to install and level a deck on a slope in full sun and it worked to mm accuracy. The clamp that is included enables it to be strapped to any yardstick you want to use. You can turn the sound indicator on or off as it suits you. The sound volume is a good level to be heard. The instructions are clear, it is easy to use, it is robust and quick to get started. You can be up and running in 5 minutes. I would definitely recommend.

I bought this along with the Huepar 902CG laser level after failed attempts to get a laser detector to work with my trusty Stanley laser level. As a pair they are a game changer for both indoors (no need for the detector) as the laser goes all round the room (not just forwards from the level as on my Stanley) creating lines on opposite walls /ceilings and floor in front and behind) and in the garden where one can now work in daylight. At a fraction of the hire costs of a surveying laser one can now set out landscaping in daylight. The range works fine the length of my 30m garden. For some reason the detector did stop working after 6 months of regular use and Amazon directed me to Huepar to sort it out (even though they weren't the specify seller on Amazon). And following a next day email reply to my enquiry and after providing a photo of the broken battery terminal connection Joan at Huepar organized a replacement which I've now received. Very pleased both with the products and the follow on customer service.

I was initially a bit dubious about how well this would perform outside in sunlight, but needn't have been. It's very intuitive to use and very accurate/repeatable. I couldn't see the laser in daylight, but this picked it up without any trouble and it gives you plenty of distance above and below the centre to actually line it up. ***Make sure you have the laser set to pulse mode before using it.*** I assume this is why people have given it bad reviews (operator error). I imagine it must be looking for a certain high speed pulse sequence to ensure it measures the laser and not background noise like sunlight.

I have "cheap" auto-leveling mini laser level that, luckily, does have a pulse mode. The Huepar laser detector easily picked up the signal at distances up to 50 meters (I didn't check any further) during the day time.
