Great purchase
I gave this book a five star but I also purchased vol 1 at the same time, unfortunately vol 1 was slightly damaged so it got 4 stars, but these book are huge, great present for my son who's just graduated with an honours in graphic design, highly recommended present.

Amazing history of Graphic Design
Beautifully designed huge book. Second in the series which goes from 1960's to the present day. Bought Part 1 last year and had to buy Part 2 and was not disappointed.

Not the print quality I expect from Taschen
The selection in this book is great. Lots of gorgeous and really important achievements in the history of design. So it's easily 5 stars in that area. But this is the fist time (as a Taschen collector and, let's face it, fanboy ;) I'm gonna complain about print quality, which is a bit of a shock to myself. There is quite a number of pages with really visible bad registration (usually yellow, but cyan and magenta also). Considering the amount of small and detailed images, one can imagine that it's quite an issue. Sadly some pages are simply blurry. As an owner of large number of Taschens titles I have to say that it's the first one I have to describe as badly printed. The book arrived loose in half-opened box. But that's another story. Thanks Amazon :|
