Dog Bed
This BarkBox orthopedic dog bed is a total win in my house — my dog absolutely loves it. The memory foam is supportive without being too firm, and it gives them a really comfortable place to rest, especially after long walks or playtime. The bed fluffs back up nicely and doesn’t flatten out the way cheaper beds do. The cover is soft, easy to remove, and washes well, which is a huge plus. The whole bed feels well‑made and durable, and the sizing is spot‑on. Most importantly, my dog goes straight to this bed on their own, curls up, and sleeps deeply — that’s the real test. If you want a cozy, supportive bed that pets genuinely enjoy, this one is a great choice.

Great bed!
Nice, thick dog bed. I could sleep on it lol. It holds its shape and is perfect in the crate for our seventy pound pittie. Actual orthopedic foam, not cheap egg crate bedding like some.

Great for Medium Ruffland!
Finally a good bed that nearly fits a medium ruffland perfectly! My dog absolutely hated his primo pad so I needed to find something softer he would love, but that fit the kennel floor. After multiple purchases, I was starting to lose hope. Either too small, too big, or no padding whatsoever. This bed checks all the boxes of what was necessary! Took well less than 24 hours to expand fully, but gave it the full 24 before zipping and placing in kennel. Dog took to it immediately. Wouldn't use this one for destructive dogs as it is soft material, but otherwise it's great! Well worth the money. Can't speak to longevity, but my dog only uses his kennel for drives so should last a good while. Edit: we've now had it for three months and the bed has been used consistently for travel and when home, in the kennel. It's been dirtied up and washed multiple times and is still like new. Definitely recommend this one for kennels if your pup needs something softer than a primo.

Truly amazing bed but with one flaw. (See Pros and Cons)
I think this is a very good dog bed. Its better than what I thought Id receive but it has one big flaw. Its not waterproof anymore and Ill explain why. We purchased it November 30, 2020 so we have had it one month and four days. Here is the pros and cons. Pros: • The foam is as pictured, there is a top layer of foam thats blue. I have purchased other dog beds that supposedly had the blue top layer but once receiving it the foam didnt look as pictured. This one actually does. • We bought the extra large and its supposed to be for dogs up to 120lbs. We had a 121lb person stand evenly on it after it inflated for the appropriate amount of time and sure enough her feet didnt touch the floor underneath. The weight on a dog is spread out but even with all the weight being in her feet they still didnt touch the floor. Waiting the appropriate time for it to inflate does make a difference so its best to do. • Cover is easy to clean and does block out urine, unless it is barely damaged (see con). • The dog took to it really fast and really loves it. That in itself is a use Pro. Cons: • Only one con, but its pretty significant. The outer case is the waterproof cover. Unlike other beds where there is a second case underneath the outside cover and the second case is waterproof. (With those beds you only have to wash the outside case and wipe down the waterproof one thats the second case.) The nice thing about the outside cover on this bed being waterproof is the lining they used inside truly is waterproof, not some cheap thin cover. Downside is if anything, anything at all, damages the cover which is the only cover on this bed, urine will go straight to the foam. Be it the dogs claws, chewed, it being washed over time and breaking down, or cats, if there is damage there will be urine leaking onto the foam. That happened to us already, I found a couple teeny tiny (seriously tiny) holes in the top of the cover. Thats all it took and urine went right through when it used to sit on top. Luckily I had a waterproof toddler crib mattress encasement on the foam before it was in the original cover so it leaked onto that. Problem is that toddler crib cover was supposed to be a secondary waterproof protection for the foam, not its first one. So now I need another cover that comes with the bed or two toddler mattress covers but I dont think two layers of mattress covers will fit in the original cover and it zip. So Im trying to figure out what to do. Hope this helps and wish me luck on figuring out our solution.

Perfect bed for IVDD
My dachshund has IVDD and needed a good quality memory foam orthopedic bed to help with his back. The quality is fantastic and worth every penny - I even told my husband that I wish they made beds like this for us! It's very comfortable. We've used it for a couple weeks now, and I've also noticed that my dog doesn't move around as much at night and seems to sleep better. No free toy like some of the other reviews unfortunately - but besides that, I may be purchasing more of these in the future for other areas in the house!

Although this bed is very comfortable and it has helped his arthritis the cover is poor quality and the zip has broken off already so I now cannot remove the cover. I’ve not even had this product a month! It is not water resistant and I’ve had to wash the memory foam mattress as well as the cover and it does not wash well.

This bed has a nice foam support. The cover is plush and my pup loves the bed. The only problem, which is the reason I give this only 2 stars, is that it is not for dogs that like to chew. After opening up the newly arrived bed for it to air and expand, my cavapoo without anyone's notice, crept into the room and chewed the corner off the cover. It took him only seconds as we discovered very quickly what he had done! As the foam is still good, I intend to sew another cover for the bed.

Have been using this for only a few days but so far very pleased. Left it unused for 72 hrs as per their instructions, it expanded just as they said it would to 3", the crease where it was folded is no longer noticeable. I removed the outer cover while it was expanding. Ordered the medium 29 x 18, which fits my same size crate perfectly. Doggie seems happy with it too. And, lol just as everyone else has mentioned, he loves the green pea ball, the gift that came with it. He's had the ball for 5 days now and is still happily playing with it, even though he has lots of other toys! An update: have been using this mattress now for 2yrs, doggie sleeps on it in his crate every night. I have washed the cover 3 or 4 times only, I have a blanket on top of it. However it has washed and dried superbly, comes out just like new. The last time doggy had been sick in the night, nothing went through the cover to the mattress, so pleased about that. Zipper is fine. My dog is 12 pounds, mattress itself looks exactly the same as the day it arrived. Have just ordered same mattress, smaller size to use on the living room floor. Thankyou Barkbox!

Bought specifically to fit in a travel crate, it fitted perfectly & the dog appeared very comfortable. We know leave it lying in the kitchen & he uses it regularly. Easily washable cover too.
