Changing Texas: Implications of Addressing or Ignoring the Texas Challenge

A Thoroughly stunning narrative to explain "what has been and is now data depicting past, present reality and a future scenario of projections about the year 2050. Wow! No ways to 'fix' the past or 'adjust' the present. BUT...but there is time to begin grappling with reality and instituting improvements in thinking about our state and changing policies related to spending the necessary funds to better educate ALL Texas residents. The content depicts that It will be a tremedous task to gear up for equipping more people with above average knowledge and skills. A successful outcome could undergird a quality of life that is appropriate in the decades ahead. Without the needed changes in mindset and educational funding priorities the prospects for Texas are dire.

I was not disappointed, but it was as scary a read as a Stephen King novel. Texas, have we gone beyond the fork in the road? Time to roll up our collective sleeves and move forward, thanks Mr. Murdock.
