Ok, I wrote a review on Sebastian's Drench shampoo and conditioner and absolutely love it. I took a chance on this product as a leave-in conditioner to see if it could help my extremely dry ends. I am half Mexican, a quarter Indian, and a quarter German...my scalp is very oily, my bottom half of my hair very dry and frizzy. While my hair is still damp from showering, I put about a 3/4 pump (don't press the pump all the way down) and then start with my ends and work the product up throughout the rest of my hair up to the scalp. My hair goes to about the bottom of my shoulder blades, so you don't need a whole lot of product to make it effective. After finger combing the product into my hair, I lightly scrunch my hair to help the curls set. And literally...that is it! When my hair dries it is SOOO shiny and bouncy and curls are softly defined--it literally looks fake it looks so good. And so you know, I have NEVER liked my hair. This is a new territory for me to enjoy my curls :) For me, I usually shower at night during my work week since I have to get very early. I do the same technique at night and then just go to bed--wet hair and all. When I wake up in the morning...BAM! Gorgeous curls! I am so in love with this product. I hope Sebastian never changes it. IT is worth EVERY penny--not only with how my hair looks, but how fast and easy it is to be professionally ready. I used to straighten my hair when important meetings came around because my hair was always so frizzy, but now, I can just take it down from a pony tail and I am meeting ready. I can't rave enough about this product! Oh, and I have used this product now for two months--no limb, over-producted hair. Just the same great results day after day! UPDATE March 13, 2013: I am finally ordering my second bottle of this wonder product. My first order was July 31, 2012...I am finally about 15% left in my bottle. My hair is still as great as when I first tried this product. It has never felt weighted down with product build up, and I continue to get rave comments about my hair. I personally use the Drench shampoo and conditioner along with this product, but if I had to choose because of the expense, I would take the Potion #9 hands down. Case in point, my sister and I went on a Caribbean cruise last October. Because TSA took my product (4.1 ounce bottle that was half full)during a differnt trip, I didn't dare take my Drench set with me. My sis and I shared a bottle of crappy cheap shampoo during the cruise and I used Potion #9. It honestly saved my hair during the trip! I know the initial price looks intimidating, but not only does this bottle last for months, it also saves on not having to buy other product. I have no hair spray, mousse, gel, nada. I literally just wash/condition in the shower and then run Potion #9 through my hair and I am done. I rarely, rarely even comb/brush my hair. Just the combing through with my fingers usually is enough to set my curls. It is seriously a blessing to have taken a chance on this product. I am a Sebastian Gal all the way!

I've been struggling with dry, flyaway, frizzy hair, and no shampoo, conditioner, or protein product could tame. I remembered liking this product, but had run out some time ago and for some reason, never repurchased. Tried this again on black Friday sale, and Shazam! Healthier hair than I'd had since pre-pando! LOVE THIS PRODUCT and will recommend at the top of my lungs! Oof. Too many exclamation points. Sorry, folks.

This is A-MA-ZING !! I live in a very humid place, my hair is frizzy and wavy. I tried this once many years ago at the salon when they applied it on my hair and felt in love since! I got this recently when I was looking for a not so expensive leave in and this again, did not disappoint, it literally works so much better and leaves my hair a lot better than high end products like kerastase. (sorry kerastase! I still love you). But seriously, my hair has never looked better so effortlessly. I tried it on my wet hair and went to sleep, the next day my hair looked amazing! I also tried it after washing my hair and then blow drying it and it worked perfectly too. My hair feels silky, smooth and looks healthy with a little bit of shine (just enough!). 100000000/10

Love this product! The best way to really see the best results is the blow dry your hair using the diffuser on a low to medium setting, making sure to dry the hair about 80-90%. It has a nice hold without it feeling crunchy. Nice smell as well!

Great product. Cap was missing on arrival. Good thing I have an older bottle and it has the cap. Online photo of the product shows a cap on the bottle. Unfortunately it didn’t arrive with the cap.

Love this stuff. Been using this 25+ years. First by itself when I highlighted my hair and it was more virgin. Then as I began to color my roots and refreshing, I'd layer this under Sebastian's mousse and when I could not find it anymore, then a gel for curls. I feel since my fine hair became more compromised by overall coloring, this has saved it from majorly breaking off. I'm in the process of color correction and tried this on dry hair as sort of protection for my next step. It made my hair less fly-away and brought out my curls. It works better on damp/wet hair after shampooing. So glad to be able to get it through Amazon these past several years. I've read the nightmare reviews saying they received it with no cap, leaks, and sometimes holes in the bottom. I'm thankful that hasn't happened to me and hopefully that won't be my experience on next purchase. It's annoying at the least receiving products that are damaged or incomplete, that should not be happening and get a refund...

Manages the hair with a soft feel. Doesn’t make the hair stiff and dry. Has a pleasant smell. Doesn’t take a lot.

I have bought this product many times. This was delivered without the lid. I looked through the package, it did not fall off. I don’t know if it is a new/full bottle since the lid is missing. I didn’t see any evidence of it leaking. When I pay $23 for a product, I expect it to be in new condition with a lid.

I've been using this product for about 10 years... and the results are amazing! I am addicted to Potion9 as it is the only product that leaves my hair (type 2b) soft and shiny, with a nice texture - super natural, without looking like you have used any product at all, with a very subtle and nice smell.. and moreover it hydrates your hair!! I only visit the hairdresser twice a year and I always hear good comments about my hair... I don't have any split ends or dryness at all! I've tried so many products for the past 10 years and I always come back to this one. I do combine Potion9 with other products, depending on the occasion (if I want to style it I can use hairspray or argain oil to make it even more shiny). You can use it after washing your hair, on wet or dry hair, on "dirty" hair (day after you've washed your hair), on the beach, before you blow dry it, before you style it with an iron... basically it can save your hair in any situation! I always have a little bottle with Potion9 in my purse, just in case :) The texture is a bit..funny and sticks to your hands, that's right. But after washing and drying your hands, that it will come out. It's worth the sticky feeling, trust me! I believe this is the best hair product ever! For type 2b or 2c hair, it really helps leaving your hair smooth and healthy! I've never written such a long review. This was only because I really want to share my positive experience!

Ürünü yaklaşık 12-13 yıldır kullanıyorum. Aşırı memnunum, vaad ettiği herşeyi sağlıyor. Saç dalgasını belirginleştiriyor, nemlendiriyor, durulamadan kullanılan bir ürün olmasına karşın saçta kalıntı bırakmıyor, ağırlık yapmıyor. Fiyatı pahalı gibi görünse de, 500 ml ürünü 1 yıl kadar kullanıyorum. Fiyatından dolayı dönem dönem başka ürün arayışlarım olmasına karşın kesinlikle aynı performansı sağlayan ürün bulamadım.
