An insight guide into the Hindu TraditionI discovered this most beautiful book at Frankfurt International Bookfair in early October. - I remember to sit down at the stall of the publishing house and have a deeper look insight. This is a most sophisticated book, full of lovely illustrations. I would recommand it to everyone, who is interest in the Hindu Culture and its various aspects of representation. Of course, it is not possible to read a book at the bookfair! - So I ordered it, and am looking forward to soon going more into detail at home. There is no doubt, however, that it will enrich my collection of books with another magnificient piece of art.

Ich bin hin und weg von diesem Buch! Es ist zwar auf Englisch, aber ich finde es toll, wie über die Göttinnen erzählt wird und deren Entstehungsgeschichten. Sehr schöner informativer Inhalt!

This book contains Beautiful Pictures, no doubt about it. BUT all information you get here are highly influenced and coloured by the HARE KRISHNA Ideology. No book from a Shakta point of View as it could be expected! Even the selection here is guided by Vaishnava perspective. Too bad.
