I looked at local hardware stores and the typical National franchises to find numbers that would stick and not peel off. I also wanted numbers that would not have a background behind them so that the mailbox would show behind them. These worked great and the gold color really stood out and added a touch of modern class to my white mailbox.

Numbers are big and bold. I recommend removing your mailbox from its post if possible and applying the numbers indoors, where you can put the mailbox on a table and align them...
