Enchanted Shell-Secret Mermaid

Molly learns the secret of the women in her family when she and her parents move in with her grandmother at the sea side. Molly's grand mother was not only a descentant of a mermaid who left the ocean when she fell in love with a fisherman but was one of the six keepers of the pieces of a magical conk shell that protects the ocean and the good Queen Luna tries to keep out of the hands of Dark Queen and her evil followers. Now that the shell is in Molly's hands she is a secret mermaid who travels into sleep into the ocean and help the other shell keepers find their lost shell pieces before the dark queen does.

I bought this for my 3yr old daughter who likes mermaids and she loves this book. We have it for a bedtime story and it's quite a good book, it has a good story line that even i want to know what happens next.

My 5 year old didn't enjoy this as much as some of the other books of this genre (e.g. the dreaded rainbow fairy books)

My 6 year old daughter loves this series.A bit forumlaic, but some longer words and interesting concepts to make them think.
