Whether the stages are actually a thing, I don’t know, but my baby loves all of them.I originally was looking for these because my baby got her hands on her baby cousin’s teething toys, specifically the stage one teether, and it kept her happy and chewing for a long time. Happy to find out she loves all three!The only cons are the strange scent I noticed other reviewers mentioning. The yellow hand (stage 3?) has an artificial vanilla scent that wont go away. I don’t know what it is, but seems neither natural nor necessary for a baby toy. Secondly, it’s just silly they don’t let you choose your colors. I have a baby girl and would’ve loved the girl set, but I received the boy set. At the time of purchasing I COULD have bought the girl set for twice the price, but I certainly didn’t want to do that so went with the regularly priced mystery “multi” set and unfortunately received the boy colors. Oh well.
