Good choice for a StratuX case
All the parts and pieces for the StratuX build fit this case very well. Since the Raspberry Pi 3B and SDRs are drawing close to max allowed current for the micro USB connector with all the associated voltage drops, decided I could save some current by not running the two fans full blast. I can not recommend powering a fan from the almost overloaded USB ports. Easy to fix, just extend the fan wires and attach to the GPIO 5V header pins. In order to reduce current draw four 10 ohm 1/8W carbon film 5% resistors were soldered to each fan wire and then the fans were paralleled before connecting to the 5V header pins. This way the two fans draw about as much current as one fan running full blast. The reduced fan speed keeps the SDR connectors touchable and the CPU runs at about 41 C w/o a heat sink in 78 F ambient. You will need to drill small holes in the case to see the RPi status lights and drill, cut or melt a slot to allow external USB-GPS cable to run straight out the case.

Works great for Stratux receivers with some extras thrown in
This kit comes with items not in other kits. The velcro strap and mounts can be very handy. On the bottom is a 1/4" x 20 thread which fits camera tripod mounts. Another handy feature. A couple of small issues; no screws came with it to mount the Raspberry Pi. No big deal you have 2 days to find some #4 3/8" screws before it arrives. Second is that you are told to hook the fan to pins 4 and 6 on the GPIO, however you are not told which end to count from. This is easy enough with a Google search to get the orientation of the pin numbers. Save yourself some time and have these two taken care of before the kit arrives. Also a tip: not impossible but putting the velcro strap in after assembly is a pain. Just put it in before the Raspberry Pi being sure you have the velcro the right way to wrap around. This is not the best quality case I have every used on a project, but the extra pieces, mounting threads and low price make it a winner so 5 stars it is.

Almost Great
I've bought 2 of these and both had the same problem - one of the 'pegs' inside the shell that the rPi board screws to (there are 4 of them) was too tall. it is the one in the corner next to the cutout for the usb-micro connector on the board. also, the tabs that hold the fans in are VERY delicate so be careful if you need to remove the fans. this really only applies to the fan that is mounted on the shell that the rPi mounts to (the shell with the too tall peg). the fan on the other shell will slide out so you don't have to spread the tabs out to remove the fan. i wish the material these are made of was better quality - like the material Stratux uses for their boxes.

Plenty options
Best Stratux case in my opinion. Plenty of wire routing, antenna placement options. Dual fans provide ample cooling. Comes with own mini suction cups also. Tripod type connectors expands installation possibilities tremendously.

Use BOTH FANS and the GPYes!
I just finished my Stratux build using the Summitlink V2 Black Case Dual Fans. The big news is that you can use both fans! You don't need to take the one out under the USB inputs. Summitlink has changed the fan connection from the bulky USB to a slim-lined connection that fits into the USB port along side the GPYes. I used PilotJo's YouTube Stratux build as my go-by because he used all the same components to include the Summitlink V2 Dual Fans case. I noticed the fan connection was different and left it in when he removed his. The fan connects to the only remaining USB port that isn't used by the antennas or GPYes.

Almost but not quite perfect
Case is not as robust as standard Stratux case, but tripod/GoPro mounting is a plus, six suction cups work well but make it hard to remove unit, Cups supplied look like they will not last long, I will replace with ones with tabs for easy removal from window, or use go-pro mount. I like the second fan to keep Nano SCR’s cool, it is loud, but with a headset on, you can't hear it. I also like and use the side locations for the antennae. I use Nano3’s , there is room for heat sinks on top of nanos, if they are in the top usb’s. If they are in the bottom usb’s, the heatsinks cannot be used, however fan seems to keep them cool enough, testing is necessary. Mounting in bottom usb’s is necessary if you use internal GPS, otherwise they block GPS reception, I use external “mouse” GPS, so I use heatsinks one on topic a SCR, one on bottom of the other. It is a waste to use one usb just for 5v fan power. I am considering using the 90 deg connectors to the Nanos and directly mount antennas vertically, and not use cables, I would need to drill two holes in the sliding part of the case to do. in any case if unit is mounted vertically, it would be better to mount antennae on radio end as opposed to pi end, as the radios get the hottest. If mounted horizontally it is also better if used with internal gps, IMHO.

Excellent value. The case alone is worth the price
Excellent value. The case alone is worth the price. The fans and mounting system are a bonus. everything fits as expected, both the AHRS, GPYes, packed in there fine. I had to solder the fan wires together and use just the pin connection because the one with the USB end will not fit next to the GPYes unit. If you are using an external mounted GPS this would not be an issue.

Very Flimsy. Arrived cracked and broken. Made of cheap materials.
The product arrived broken and cracked. The fan holder was detached, the hooks on the side were broken so it’s pretty much useless. The design looks nice and I like that you can attach the antenna in multiple places. I liked the design a lot that I was just going to superglue the sides to hold it together. However, when I tried to pop out the hole for the antenna, the side just cracked. I give up.
