The Jacket I Wear in the Snow

Easy reading text for my kids. In corporates winter along with clothers. Will use it more next since I got it so late. There wasn't much snow or cold temps so far. Crazy!!

A used copy was gifted to us by a retired librarian. I’ve since purchased copies for our nephews and nieces learning to read. I love the bouncy, rhyming repetition and visual representations of words which teach my preschooler basics of how to read.Great hand drawn illustrations.It’s a hit in our home!

I had this book as a child and loved it. I wanted to buy it for my daughter to enjoy too :)Every time we read it together we're both giggling and seeing how fast Mommy can read it :)

I teach English to children and this is perfect for the newcomers that enter the school. It helps them hear words and see the picture so they can follow along with the story while learning the vocabulary.

My kiddos at work loved the book!

As an adult reader this book appears very clever and enjoyable with pictures and rhyme. Parents seem to enjoy hearing it as well. Unfortunately, the story and rhyme is not as accessable to the children in the audience. The pictures inserted in the text help-- although one must be a reader, informed about left to right tracking and words as symbols, to really follow the tale. I find myself sacrificing the rhyme and skipping pages as the train of events becomes too long for the audience.

This is a great story for preschool and the book was in great condition.

Excellent transition from a non-reader to a new reader. Will look for more by this author.

This is a book that our granddaughter likes. She wants us to read it to her all the time. It will surely be one of her favorites.
