Bought it for him, used it for me... ok.. us.
Originally purchased this to help my husband control his beard. He was reluctant top try it, so I considered it my obligation to test it for him. Since I am beardless, I had to just use my regular old fashioned hair. I sprayed some setting spray (Redken Hot Sets 22), brushed it through, and began the process. It.. was.. so.. nice! It worked really well. It has a couple different levels of heat settings. You can choose the level based on your hair type, etc. After I graciously allowed myself to go under such rigorous testing my husband finally decided to give it a try. I used the same setting spray and the second heat level. He was nervous so I didn't want to push it, but it worked really well. It was odd to have his beard straightened, but light and fluffy at the same time. I believe he added balm or something afterwards to help with control. All-in-all it was a good purchase... I may have to get a second one because there is only so much we can share. :D

A great product to have!
This product is amazing! I straight hair that is a lil wavy in places and is a lil frizzy. This works perfect for my hair. I just slowly brush it with this product and my hair is nice and straight with no frizz. I love that my hair doesn't steam like it does with a normal straightener. Your hair still gets a lil hot but you can control the temperature of this brush which really helps to not fry your hair.

Hear me out, this is a game changer for the right person
Okay, I'm going in depth on this because it changed my life. I actually bought this exact brush from a different company. But it was definitely made at the same factory. The retailer stopped selling it. I loved it so much, I searched for it for YEARS. And here it is! So I bought it again and I'm very happy to have found it! But buckle up, because there are some "quirks" that could be deal breakers to a lot of people, too. Pros: Small enough to not be bulky (those blowout barrel brushes feel like the size of a baseball bat) Light weight, but sturdy Works quickly No kink in the hair near your scalp, because you can touch the bristles to your skin Completely and absolutely silent With a good coconut oil balm and a good serum, I look like I walked out of a salon every single time I use this product Cons: The temperature is only shown in Celcius. While I would have liked the option to flip it to Fahrenheit, I also appreciate not having to take a few minutes to set up my brush before using it for the first time. It's a brush, not a smart phone. When you turn the brush on, it defaults to the highest temperature (200°c). I would have expected the middle temperature. The temperature seems to vary. Like there is a gradual heating and cooling cycle. I don't know if this is normal for straighteners, but it's not for curling irons, so it surprised me. I found it useful, because sometimes I need a temperature break. You might hate it, I don't know. The plug is not grounded or polarized. I'm not sure that's up to code. My grandmother's lamp's plug is also not grounded or polarized, so take that with a grain of salt. But I expected to see one or the other so thought I should mention it. The plastic feels cheap. Not flimsy, but they should have put a coating on it so it would feel more refined. The "metal" is silver painted plastic. That part was done well and does not feel cheap. The joins between the pieces don't have a perfect finish, but they're tight and symmetric, without any edges sticking up. All in all, I love this brush. One star off because I feel the finishing could have been a bit more refined. I feel $15 - $25 would be an appropriate price for it. Because the instructions are not in English, I will tell you the two things that you need to know but are not intuitive: 1.) To turn it on, you need to long press on the power button. If you tap it, nothing will happen. This feels like a safety feature instead of a connection problem. 2.) When a temperature on the temperature display is blinking, it is preheating. You don't need to do anything. Just wait until it stops blinking.

Great product
I have the weirdest hair. It is naturally dark blond, very fine, and if left to dry naturally forms all over frizzy ringlets. As soon as I use a haidryer to rough dry it, it goes fluffy and fairly straight, and then the first sign of damp it is frizzy, curly and unmanageable. Safe to say apart from the colour of my hair, I hate it! I bought this thinking I had probably wasted a load of money on yet another expensive hair toy to add to my vast collection of implements that do nothing for my hair! But.....I fairly rough dried my hair after putting some serum on the bottom half, then used this when it was completely dry. My hair is now pretty straight, more shiny (because it is smooth) and after going out in the cold for a walk not the usual dreadful frizzy mess it would be. I have used it three times now, assuming that the first time was a fluke, but no - same results. Takes no time, just like giving your hair a good brush, and heats up in a couple of minutes. I am actually hopeful that this tool will work for me!!

Worked great initially...
I usually use the Remington wet to straight flat iron to straighten my hair, but wanted to try out a straightening brush. Saw positive things about this product so I purchased it. It straightened my frizzy hair great initially. The drawback that I'm having is after a bit my hair gets frizzy again. Not to the point it originally was but enough to were it's not silky straight like it was right after using the brush. I like the ease of use and it heats up really hot fast. Just wish my hair would stay silky straight after use.

Unsanitary
I have received my dryer both time with hair in it. That’s not good at all. I really would rather have my refund back.

The effect is very good
My wife likes this straight hair brush! It heats up quickly and has 6 settings, which are very effective. She even likes its color! She was worried that it wouldn't iron her hair from both sides like a hair straightener; Clipped together. Most hair doesn't have a comb, which can keep it going. But this solves this problem! My wife has curly and sparse hair, which is like a champion. The comb easily pierced through her long hair, completely removing the curls. She can also design her bangs. It is well packaged. I also spent a lot of money on it! This is also a great gift
