I had injured my rotator cuff. My PT office used this ball. I bought this ball to exercise while not at PT.

Pricey for one ball. Varying quality issues. Good for small hands
You receive one ball for the price, not a set. These balls are slightly smaller and more manageable for small hands then the newer Stott Balls or the Thera-band balls (which are quite large). The issue with these balls is 1. pricey 2. varying levels of quality. I purchased two balls both 1lb and 2lb and the density varied across these; even if you buy two of the same they end up not feeling the same. The newer Stott balls have better quality control and are cheaper. Have uploaded a picture of this product (purple) and newer Stott ball (yellow) side by side - Buy these if you want a smaller sized ball. However, you may need to buy several to find a same size pair - The Theraband balls and newer Stott balls (sold in pairs) are better quality but they are large - Theraband balls are pricey on Amazon (suggest you buy them elsewhere). Theraband is a great option if you don't have small hands. the Theraband balls also come with an exercise printout

I was using this in physical therapy and got one ti use at home. I use it everyday now that I am done with p/t an it has been very helpful.

Stott Toning Balls
All sizes are great. More comfortable than regular hand weight, plus your fingers ,hands get some exercise.

Not identical. Why?
Found it odd that the balls are not identical/feel the same. One is slightly larger than the other.

I attended a Barre class and the instructor used these balls for toning and a great workout. I purchased these for home use and they are great. It order to strengthen my hamstrings, I just place it behind my knee in a lift/hold. It works well.

They are great for pilates. They are a bit expensive but durable. I have the 2 and 3 lbs weight. I find them excellent for at home workouts

This was purchased for me toss it back and forth to help with peripheral vision and balance issues. It is a good size for my small hands.
