Side shooters work really well and provide ample light for winter night driving. I have not experienced any water intrusion on the set that I own. I will point out the design of the heat sink fins in the back of the pod, which run vertically, do not accept a universal LED pod mounting bracket. I still recommend this product and would buy them again.

I was worried about these being bright enough for use on my boat. They are even better than I thought and I love having the light to the side as well. Might have to pick up another pair. Very impressed.

Easy to install. Look good and are pretty bright. Its a flood type light so don't expect pinpoint beams. Will update if they have any water issues.

Bought these and installed on inside of side panels on a combine for service lighting. Provides good wide light pattern providing good lighting for service work. Also have a good focused spot pattern. Considering buying more to install to light out ahead of combine farther.

While the more expensive ones can be brighter, for the money they are pretty good.
