This is not your run of the mill fish sauce. Sure you can add to Pad Tai and othe recipes. But be prepared for a richer and more umami flavor profile

I will be the first to say that this product is not for everyone. Phamily Reserve (a play on the name of the founder) is extremely great, but at a great cost. For most, a typical fish sauce will suffice, especially the excellent regular, much cheaper Red Boat fish sauce. But if you're trying to make, for example, an exemplary and authentic thai table sauce with peppers, you will be right at home here. You have to decide for yourself if you'll appreciate it.

A spice so good, especially when mixed with fish,chicken and white rice

The most expensive fish sauce I’ve ever bought, and it wasn’t enjoyable at all in any dish I made. Maybe I got a bad bottle or something, but it made dishes like pad Thai and pad kra poa almost inedible.

This is a must have table fish sauce if you are a Vietnamese like me. I think that I have ordered it for the sixth times on Amazon. I use it heavily on Pho along with lime squeezed. I use it for dip or sauce for bun thit nuong. I must confess that I use cheaper version of fish sauce for cooking, simply because I cannot afford it. But in reality, this is an awesome fish sauce and it is the best.

Love the brand and in particular the Phamily Reserve fish sauce. Unfortunately I have yet to find the best use for this version. I’ll keep looking for where it fits in my cooking arsenal.

If you like the umami of fish sauce, this is the one to have. It is pity that it no longer seems to be available.

Such a complex flavor with smokiness and hint of sweetness. Definitely the best tasting fish sauce I've ever had!
